HEATING
The accommodation is comfortable throughout the year - it remains cool in the summer, but an electric fan is supplied for your additional comfort. Double glazing and underfloor heating make this a very cosy hideaway for winter months.

Ground floor - on one level with a low step onto the lane and at the entrance.

GUEST ACCESS

This ground floor apartment opens onto an enclosed shaded courtyard where apartment guests have exclusive use of a large dining table and seating for alfresco dining.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS

I can be contacted anytime by email, text, WhatsApp etc. A co-host will generally be at hand to provide any assistance. Emergency contact numbers will be available at the house.

Not just for Summer!

Local walking trails make this a snug retreat for walkers throughout the year. The markets provide provisions for an indulgent Christmas, or savour the Uzès Truffle Festival in January!

For those who prefer to keep connected we provide a smart internet TV. Programming via apps only such as YouTube, TuneIn Radio, TV5 etc. Some regional restrictions may apply for some apps.

This is an old property, and as such, the bedroom ceiling is low in parts and there is a low beam into the utility room.

15km from the medieval market town of Uzès, this is an extraordinary spot between Provence, The Cevennes, The Camargue and the Mediterranean. Nearby UNESCO World Heritage Site, The Pont du Gard, Nîmes Arena, the ramparts of Aigues-Mortes and more, offer a destination rich in history and nature.

The region has been, and continues to be home and inspiration to numerous visionaries including Robert Louis Stevenson, Anselm Kiefer, Le Docteur Perrier and Jean Racine. The area has been popularised in Kate Mosse's historical fiction Languedoc Trilogy.

On our doorstep: Seynes, The Cevennes, The Camargue, The Ardèche Gorges and The Gardon, all hosts to every imaginable leisure activity including Hot air ballooning, Abseiling, Kayaking, Canoeing, Paragliding, Road and Off-Road cycling.....
