Photos do an excellent job of describing this property. There was plenty of room for everyone and lots of bathrooms in each room. Kitchen was fully stocked with cooking items along with plenty of dishes to use. Hot tub was excellent and one could see that it was clean and the chemicals well balanced. Would definitely rent from again .
We had a wonderful time! The house was clean and welcoming. We were able to fit all our family members in the cozy rooms and around the tables! The view was awesome and the local area provided great food and souvenir shops. Make sure to take the sky lift that is right by the entrance: great view!
A lot of pluses in this one!The beds were super comfortable. There was enough cookwear. The view is very nice.Had an issue with the breaker tripping and losing power in one of the downstairs bedrooms.
Cabin was beautiful and as advertised. Minor trouble upon arrival but host quickly took care of the situation. My Wife and I plus Children and Grandchildren and Son in Laws loved the place. Beds were very comfortable and cabin easily handled our large family. Location is close enough and also far enough away. Bears were there daily but just wanted to say hi.
Host was prompt in responding at first, then unable to reach last daysWifi is unreliable No toilet paperHouse is EXTREMELY dusty/dirty, dust in corners of rugs (hair balls still on rugs upon entering), dust piled and hanging from fans and on walls. We enjoyed staying at this cabin it was spacious enough to accommodate our large family and we loved being in Wears Valley. There is a bear family that stays around the property and we saw them almost every day. One bear stayed in the tree beside the deck and my kids loved waking up to see if he was still there. They also loved the large game room downstairs. The beds were very comfortable and we had plenty of bathrooms for everyone. There is a skylift walking distance to the cabin and highly recommend checking that out and also the general store at the bottom of the hill. The view was also definitely beautiful. Would stay here year after year!
The host was great. This property is beautiful and has a great view of the mountains from the front porch. Location was perfect for our motorcycle rides, and trips to Pigeon Forge and Sevierville. The parking wasn't great for trucks and motorcycles trailers. And not an easy ride upto the house and down the driveway. The house was basically clean, but could use a good deep cleaning. Over all we loved our stay here and would highly recommend this property.
Beautiful views, a little worn, but homey. Need more garbage space and Wi-Fi, but overall really enjoyed our time. We had a mama bear and her 3 babies visit us, which was exciting. Owners were good about responding every time. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
Very nice property. We enjoyed our stay. There are some maintenance needs. Bears were an issue and were there every day. Also would be nice to have some contact numbers if there was a problem. We did contact the host thru VBRO about a shower/water leak issue but received no response. Overall we enjoyed our time at this property.
Our trip was a Christmas gift for our grandparents with their kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. We had a wonderful time. The location is great- away from all of the hustle and bustle but a short drive if want to find something to do. We had 6 bear right under our porch so that was the exciting part of the stay for the kiddos!
We rented this house for a get together with a bunch of Army guys who served together. House was great, plenty of space. Listing says they provide 2 bath towels per person, initial supply of toulet paper and dish washer soap. We were allotted 1 bath towel per person, 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and no dishwasher soap. Communication with the host is lacking. Very long response time. Some messages never being answered. The last day of our stay the upstairs(main level) air conditioner went out. It was an 85 day. We were out most of the day in Cades Cove. We return to the house and its 78 air isnt flowing at all. We message the host through the chat option. No response. We waited over an hour and then decided to call, it was 11:37pm at this time. My husband spoke to someone who basically said its not their problem and told us to open the the windows and then hung up on them. Then they message me back telling us they aren't a hotel and dont offer the same amenities as a hotel would. Never once did they apologize for the inconvenience of staying in a hot stuffy cabin. All of us that were in an upstairs bedroom had to camp out on the floor in the downstairs game room. All in all the house was in a good location, but the poor way the host washed their hands of the non-functioning air conditioning really left the experience as a bad one.
Beautiful cabin! Beautiful view! Plenty of room for family. Small issue, one bathtub continued to drip when shutoff. But it did not cause a problem. We had a wonderful time!!
Everything was good except the deck and furniture on the deck was covered in saw dust. We had to clean off the rails and furniture to sit. Parking wasn’t the best for four vehicles but all was good. We had a great vacation.
