THE NAVEL OF THE MOUNTAIN - LOFT STUDIO APARTMENT

The currently used part of this very old, centuries-old stone structure is located in the ancient noble "Monte" district.
It consists of a garage (where booking is possible to park cars of medium size, the entrance door is 212 cm wide) on the ground floor, a studio loft on the first floor and a second apartment with both bathroom and kitchen autonomous.
The building (to which the house is included) is part of an ancient building, which up until the beginning of the 20th century included the "Convent and the Church of S. Agata" subsequently demolished. In the areas under recovery there are antique frescoes, ancient floors, railings and wrought iron artefacts.
It is accessed from via Vittorio Enanuele n. 47 (one of the main streets of the historic center) that is located near some of the most important monuments of the city and is a few meters from the historic Municipal Library, from the Church of St. Anna, from that of S. Ignazio di Loyola, from the Aragonese Castle and a few hundred meters from Piazza DUOMO, Piazza Garibaldi ...
The recovery / restoration of the building contributes to allowing our battered old town rich in art, history, traditions .. live and continue to be usable rather than disappear, so we are not just putting so much passion ...
The loft studio has a kitchenette, fridge, electric oven and microwave, TV, private bathroom with shower, sofa bed (a place) balcony.
From the balcony on Via Vittorio Emanuele you can witness ALL religious, folk and artistic events.

The vaulted ceiling has been designed to offer the essential comforts for a relaxed stay in a unique environment.
To access the mezzanine (in solid wood), follow a steep wooden ladder so it is not recommended for people with walking difficulties and children who are not yet able to assess the danger due to the stairs and the balcony of the mezzanine overlooking the hall.
The ancient building is autonomous; the apartment is located on the 1st floor, on request you can book the car parking in the attached garage at an additional cost of € 7 to be paid locally.
Considering that the wall structure is in stone and the walls reach considerable thicknesses it does not need automatic air conditioning.
Linen, bathroom and kitchen linen are provided.

The choice of this apartment in CENTRO STORICO is also excellent because PIAZZA ARMERINA is LITTLE DISTANT from other sites of interest such as: - the splendid Roman villa "Del Casale";
- the ruins (also very well preserved and highlighted) of the Greek city of Morgantina and its archaeological museum;
- the nearby Enna and Caltagirone.
In addition, the parking always available in the street a few meters and the restaurants of the center have made a perfect foothold.
