Cozy place for a couple. Having a parking spot on property was great. Our vehicle was suburb Ascent midsize and had no problem. The apartment was conveniently located for walking and DOT bus.
Good location for walking exploration of Savannah squares and Forsyth Park. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. Laundry facility was not available. Kitchen could be better stocked with measuring spoons and cups. Coffee maker made coffee but warming plate didn’t work. Parking spot was nice feature and worked well for our Corolla.
What a fabulous property and location! The host was accommodating and the property was exactly as described. A great starting point for your Savannah adventure!
Great place to stay. It was very easy to find and parking was never a problem. The house was very clean, we will definitely be staying here next time that we come down.
Everything went well with my check-in. The carriage house was as described. I had a little difficulty because the mattress sits so high off the floor but I made it work.Great location Wonderful neighborhood. Lots of folks out walking their doggies.
5/5 Great Stay Near Forsyth ParkWe really enjoyed our stay at this carriage house. The location is excellent — just a short walk to Forsyth Park and close to everything we wanted to do. Parking is a bit tight, but that’s expected in Savannah’s older historic areas, and it was still very convenient to have a reserved spot. The place was comfortable and the host communicated well. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
The place was clean and good. One issue was hitting my head going up the steps. If you are tall, watch out. The TV stations left much to be desired (very few and not very good.). We ate out all of the time, so no comments on the kitchen. Reading the binder there helped with the heat/AC units. Forsyth Park right there was the best part of the trip. The alley you need to navigate on foot to walk anywhere could be a little hazardous for some people (old brick alley, very uneven). Also, a lot of garbage cans in the alley. As I said, we very much enjoyed Forsyth Park and walking to some of the nearby shops and restaurants. But, the main shopping distrct is very very touristy. The streets were packed with people. And everywhere you go you have to pay for parking, EVERYWHERE!! And trying to find a spot to park was a challenge. All in all, we had a good time and being close to the park (venders line the one walkway selling their wares) and walking around looking at the old homes made it worth it.
We loved our trip to Savannah. We’re definitely excited to visit this property again- loved how it has a parking space but is within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go.
