This first-floor unit is located in the desirable community of Chateau La Mer, merely steps away from the main attraction and reason that millions of visitors continue to return, year after year–the sugar white sands and clear blue-green waters of Destin's spectacular beach. Check-in to this comfortable, spacious condo, drop off your luggage and stroll across the street to dip your toe in the surf and meander along the sand. Grab a seat on the beachfront patio of Captain Dave's on the Gulf and enjoy some of the best views in Destin, while sipping a cold beverage and nibbling on oysters, shrimp or crab. Can you feel the tension just floating away with the sea breezes? This is why you came!

Sleep soundly in the comfortable king bed in the master bedroom or a queen bed in the second bedroom. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the open-concept living area that will accommodate additional guests or children. And the unit features for your relaxing pleasure. The well-equipped kitchen includes a breakfast bar and stacked washer and dryer–no need to do vacation laundry when you arrive back home!

Dog-friendly in Destin

Very convenient to gorgeous Gulf of Mexico beach; a big plus is that beach service (chairs, umbrella) is included. We also loved that we could bring our dog to this unit.

We booked this very last minute and the property was just as described except no beach view. Not a deal breaker. Unit is older than others we have stayed in - but was very clean and had everything that we needed. Beds were comfortable. I should have read some of the notes closer - we did have to buy trash bags, laundry soap and dishwasher detergent - not a big deal but would have packed it if I read closer. If you plan on cooking or enjoying morning coffee - pack salt and pepper and coffee filters too. . Only minor complaint would be that the broom and dustpan need replaced and the back sliding door and patio could use some love. Location is fantastic - we head to Destin/Miramar for the beach so walking just a few steps and having a beach with chair set up was perfect. Our kids enjoyed the pool and that it was heated for our late March stay. Having washer and dryer in unit was great as well. Bonus was being able to bring our pup too. Overall would recommend - booking and communication was great! Walking distance to everything and we rented bicycles and they were delivered to this location no problem. Will share with other friends traveling to the area. Missing the emerald coast already!

Had a wonderful stay at the condo. It was easy walk to beach and nice clean area. My only issue we had was the people who rented upstairs sounded like a buffalo herd above us all hours of the night. But would definitely stay again.

An Hurricane Ida Getaway

When we arrived to the property I was pleasantly surprised. We were overwhelmed and tired being that we traveled alot prior to finding this Condo at the last minute. It was a blessing and very welcoming and made us feel safe and at home will stay again.

Very nice place

The condo was lovely and very clean. It had everything I needed and the green areas to walk the pup were plentiful. The furniture and towels seemed brand new. The rental management folks very prompt and helpful to answer questions. Would recommend. Also the Alexa enable device was a nice extra.

Christmas in Destin

We were in Destin for Christmas with family. Chose this one because it was pet friendly. Unit is nice, green space great. Condo is large and well furnished. Didn't use kitchen too much but appeared to be well furnished. Walking distance to beautiful beach.
