About this property

Spacious 3 bedroom Apartment in the Normandy Countryside.

This is a large modern apartment in the grounds of a Manor house. All the original features have been kept yet the apartment has all modern amenities. It is on the first floor of what was originally the stable block for the Manor with views over the cobbled courtyard, the original pump house and the large, beautifuly enclosed garden. It is a light, airy apartment with large open kitchen and dining area, 3 large double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Maximum of 6 people.

Outdoors there are large gardens, grass areas, bbq areas, tables & chairs, sun loungers.

In the summer afternoon teas & scones are served beside the fish pond in the large enclosed garden. Breakfasts can also be provided on the 'Martinique' style veranda in the main house.

A great location for visiting the numerous tourist sites of Normandy, and a quiet location with many areas for outdoor relaxing after a long day's sightseeing. Suitable for families.

We are located between the beautiful spa town of Bagnoles de l'Orne, well-known for its water therapy cures and the medieval city of Domfront. Our small village Juvigny sous Andaine, which you can walk to in 10 minutes, has all the basic necessities and larger towns are only 10 mins drive away.

We are pet friendly and small dogs may be permitted on request.

This area and property is safe and secure for everyone.

This is a beautiful part of Normandy, famous for its local calvados, pear & apple cider and local cheeses. Our apartment offers everything that you need to have a great holiday whether it be for a 1 night stop over or longer.

We are a family of 5 having moved to France in 2003. Our children have grown up and been educated in France and during that time our accommodation business has grown from 1 bed & breakfast to several rooms including 3 apartments and a cottage. The entire Manor is also available for rent.

Why they chose this property

This is a beautiful area, full of history and lush green countryside. It is safe, very friendly and a great way to really experience french culture. The weather from May to October ranges from 21 - 27 0C and Spring and Autumn seasons are particularly beautiful.

What makes this property unique

On a very old site with alot of local history.
Lots of activities for the whole family.
Quiet location and easy access to main routes.
Completly enclosed property.
In the Countryside and close to all amenities.
Halfway between Paris and the coast.
