Great two month stay in Albufeira

The location of this apartment is really great, close to all amenities we needed (grocery stores, bars, restaurants, beach, etc.). The apartment is perfect for two people, just the right size and layout, and the view from the balcony is amazing. We had one or two minor issues on arrival that were taken care of immediately. All our communications with Hostwise we responded to almost immediately. We are definitely coming back to this apartment next year.

Misleading information

Nice apartment but needs updating and decorating..the listing stated there was a garage with the apartment which is NOT the case. No information regarding the swimming pool which was very very crowded. It was a good break but we would not return.

GEEN communicatie met de eigenaar, Maar Agentschap Hostwise ( willen alleen zakken vullen

De locatie is top alles in de buurt en een goede douche. Voor de rest was het appartement slecht. (We zijn er 1 maand geweest) Klachten vanaf dag 1 * We hebben betaald voor een zwembad bij het appartement, nu heb je daar zwembandjes voor nodig die waren er niet. Na elke dag mailen kregen we na 2 weken de zwembandjes maar geen excuus van de eigenaar of de agentschap * koffiezet apparaat kapot, koelkast stinkt, bed waarin de vering in je rug prikt, strijkplank viel uit elkaar, pannen te vies om aan te raken, tv werkte niet enz enz enz we zijn op een gegeven moment gestopt met mailen wat niet klopt in het appartement Elke dag in de vakantie mailen naar Hotwise maar ze hebben niet alles opgelost. Uiteindelijk na 3 dagen hebben ze nieuw koffiezetapp, strijkijzer,pannen en nieuwe glazen gebracht. Andere klachten hebben ze niks mee gedaan. We raden dit appartement zeker niet aan. We eisen compensatie van de eigenaar. En wachten op antwoord van de eigenaar Bij de advertentie staat Clean & Safe in het bad was niet eens een antislipmat, lamp op balkon kapot dit zelf maar aangeschaft. Wij huren altijd particulier daar betaal je iets meer voor dat is niet erg maar deze eigenaar wil alleen ze zakken vullen. In je vakantie wil je waar je voor betaald ( goed bed, lekkere douche, leuke locatie en zwembad) Maar helaas dat is niet wat we hebben gekregen

Oura - September 10 - October 15/2022

A map of where to pickup the condo keys for the property would have been nice. There are many Porta 1 and Porta 2’s on the property. Everything in the condo is as advertised. There should be a team on site on day 1/2 to review how the European appliances work. During our 5 week stay the TV never worked and Renato - the owner was going to have MEO come but it never happened. The gas stove needs some updating only 2 burners work and I never tried the oven. I must have misread the listing but you have to wash your own linen and towels and keep the condo clean! I enquired about this but again never heard back from the owner. We tried to have a swim in the condo pool but decided to skip this space because there was never a chair to sit on and the pool was very busy. We preferred the walk to the beach. A warning to seniors- make sure you bring a small non-slip mat for the tub. It’s very slippery. The condo is a wonderful location. Very close to restaurants, bars,!beach and grocery shopping. This location was very quiet in the evening- we were never woken by late night / early morning partygoers.

Had to wait outside property for 1hr 30mins before someone was available to let us in. Not very pleased as very tired after long journey from Canada. More comfortable seating would be appreciated, otherwise stay was Ok.

Winter home from home

We loved the location,lovely building ,lift a great access,kitchen well fitted and everything needed ,except a lot of kitchen need not working ,toaster ,micro wave ,extracted fan in kitchen and bathroom never worked ,Bedroom ,all the linen and bedding needed and washing machine great ,dry on the veranda in an hour,but need a bit of deco,done ,Curtains in bedroom very old and need painting too. I don’t often complain ,but have passed this apartment info to friends ,they booked for two weeks in May 2019 and I hope these little problems are looked into ,did email the lady ,but she did not get back to us ,home from home means to us we are happy with the place ,that was not the case ,sorry ,but the site and area was perfect location. Nice View!

Used the apartment as a base to travel the Algarve . Many restaurants in the area. Albufeira is a very busy spot and I can’t imagine what it be like in high season. The location was great with a nice view. Elevator was a plus . Would stay there again.

Epic stay in Algarve!

We had such a great time there. The weather was incredible, the beach is just 5 minutes from the apartment and we did not have to use car which is pretty amazing! And we had a big swimming pool for us when we wanted! Such an amazing trip. I will surely recommend!
