About this property

Holiday home with whirlpool located in a quiet area close to Skagen and the sea. Ground floor has a large living / dining room in open connection with the kitchen. Here are wooden floors and a wood burning stove. On the ground floor there is a small bathroom with tub / shower. On the 1st floor there are two good bedrooms. Downstairs there are two more rooms. One of them is at ground level due to the sunken terrace, which the room faces and which makes the room a very nice bedroom. Large, modern bathroom with shower and larger whirlpool. There is a front garden with lawn, where there is both a raised and sunken terrace and a cozy northwest facing patio at the back of the house. There is plenty of sun and good parking on the fenced plot. The house is close to Saxilds Gaard, which was previously home to the famous Skagen painters, and now a museum for their paintings and a short distance to the cozy district Østerby, Brøndums Hotel and the city center with shops and the harbor. If you follow the small path behind the train station, you can walk to the city center in a few minutes. Not for rent to youth groups.
For reasons of tranquillity, this holiday home will not be rented to groups of youngsters

Dejligt hus men det halter lidt.

Vi havde et dejligt ophold i huset. Vi har besøgt det før i 2021, og der var det i "rent og pænt" stand. Nu er det efterhånden godt brugt, og det bærer præg af at det bliver repareret og ikke vedligeholdt. Der var blandt andet en lampe der var smadret med blottede ledninger, som hverken viceværten eller ejeren havde gjort noget ved. Derudover drev fugten af væggene i badeværelset i kælderen, og hvis man forsøgte at åbne vinduet for at lufte ud faldt det ud af rammen. Det er i grunden møg ærgerligt, fordi huset ligger hamrende godt i gåafstand fra det meste i Skagen og huset er super godt indrettet. Så hvis de får det opdateret vil vi helt sikkert gøre brug af det igen.

Washer didnt work, strict cleaning rules but place not clean upon arrival, very difficult to lock door, no indication where meters are which were mandatory to read upon arrival (spent over one hour looking instead of enjoying our vacation), make sure to check linen package (no bath towel in one package and suggestion was to drive 30 minutes back to the office to get one).

Udemærket til prisen

Godt beliggende feriehus med god plads. Man kan godt se det er brugt, men det er hyggeligt indrettet og der er gode pladsforhold til alle. Eneste anke var at de ikke kunne give os nøglen en halv time før tid, da rengøringen skulle være færdige og der skulle sættes varme på. Der var dog ikke tændt for varmen og rengøringen havde ikke været forbi siden tre dage før vires ankomst. Deres rengøring haltede også noget, men overordnet et godt hus vi helt sikkert vil bruge igen.
