Get Away Acres 1/2 mile off highway 60 extra sanitized

this is a 1 bedroom house, .Hardwood floor, washer and dryer, 3 people can stay comfortably. We are in the country only a 1/2 mile from 60 highway but in the woods. Its only 20 minutes to beautiful Current river or 10 minutes to Black River(Markham Springs). Wappappello and Clearwater Lakes are within 1/2 hour . Linens are. provided . All you need is a toothbrush. WE also have a fire pit and BBQ grill on a small patio. Please check that you will be bringing animals if that applies there is a cleaning fee for animals.

A restful country stay.

This was a nice spot in the country for our one night layover. The surrounding Ozarks were beckoning us, but we had to move on to our home in Western Missouri.

Perfect setting

The house was very clean and even better than the pictures. It was the perfect size for my sister and I. The cows out the side were relaxing to watch. Robbie, the host, was quick to reply and attentive while we were there. Highly recommend staying here. We hope to again.

I am a life long resident of the Ellsinore area. I worked at school for 33 years . I still drive a bus for the school but retired from my secretarial position.

Why they chose this property

I decided to try the vacation rental thing. I have enjoyed meeting the people. I like to try to give them a little touch of the country life. This was my grandmothers house (remodled), we still refer to it as Maw's house. We stayed in this house when a tornado hit our in 2002 while we rebuilt ours. Even though they are fairly close. This house wasn't touched.

What makes this property unique

Country life, patio and rock firepit. Field in front and back of the house , woods on both sides. Most of the time the cows are here and most people enjoy seeing the cows
