8 person holiday home in Sandstad

A south-facing, spacious holiday cottage with a garden and quiet surroundings. 200 metres to the sea and 150 metres to a lake. The house was renovated in 2000 with a modern kitchen with food processor, waffle iron and toaster, living room and bathroom on both floors, one with steam and massage shower. Sauna for 6-8 people. In three bedrooms the single beds can be combined, and in the last bedroom there are normal single beds. The TV has European channels via Astra1. WiFi with good capacity for streaming etc. Outside there is a 40 m² large terrace with chairs and a fjord view. Park your car in the double garage. The house sits on a large farm with the closest neighbour 500 metres away. There is sheep on the farm and deer, birds and wildlife in the area, as well as several lakes. Use the outlying fields for hiking. The town of Fillan is 50 km away with shops and a salmon river. Go swimming in the lake 150 metres from the cottage or in the fjord 200 metres away. Close to the house the is a river where the spawning season is in May and June, and you can catch sea trout here. There is deer in the area and eagle can be seen from the house. There is also a dovecote on the property and some rabbits in a large cage. The sheltered waters here are perfect for fishing whatever the weather. Boats for rent: 1 x 19 ft Macomarine aluminium boat with 60 hp Yamaha 4-stroke motor and chartplotter GPS/sonar/chartpotter, 8 rod holders, 1 x 17 ft Frigg with 15 hp Yamaha 4-stroke motor with sonar and 4 rod holders 1 x 14 ft boat with 10 hp motor. Please not that tThe boats are located 9-10km from the house. Life jackets are included. By the fjord there is a covered fish cleaning table with running water and lights, and a small room for fishing equipment.
