We had a really relaxing and cosy time at the Garden Rooms, and had the joy of a winter wonderland snowy weekend! The house is gorgeous, modern and tasteful decor, very spacious, warm and comfortable. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and the bed and sofa were perfect for our lazy weekend. Wood burner and underfloor heating were especially appricaited on a snow weekend. The grounds are stunning and close to lots of amenities and nature spots. Hot tub isnt availble in winter so worth checking 'hotbox sauna' if you want that but theres a gorgeous free standing bath in the bedroom which was a treat!Kim left us tasty brownies and was very communicative when we needed anything.Absolutely perfect!
Had a wonderful weekend away! Had initially booked the Garden Rooms but due to a bouble booking we were upgraded to the main house. The accommodation is in a beautiful location, with gorgeous views and lovely gardens. Wish we could have stayed longer!
The Garden Rooms were absolutely exceptional! Quiet, surrounded by nature, easily accessible to giants causeway, Dunluce castle, and several restaurants in Portstewart. I highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing stay! Also, Kim makes the most amazing brownies!
The Cottage is beautiful and taste of the furnishings and decor is outstanding. Well maintained and very clean. The location is rural but not too far from all the locations for tourism and views of the coast. Portrush and the Great Causeway are 20-30 minutes away. We highly recommend it. It is definitely 5 Star quality.

Anniversary let down
We booked this property as the 2nd part of our 31st Wedding Anniversay holiday, it was booked as it stated there was WiFi and Satelite tv. We both watch golf and the USPGA was on sky, whcich I was going to watch via my Virgin TV Go app on my laptop, as we do every time we are away. However on our 1st night we could not view the golf as the WiFi was too slow, neither could we watch BBC Iplayer or Netflix on the Smart TV. I contacted the host and was told that had never been any complaints before. Over the next few days I kept sending Internet speed tests, one was 0.39 mbps download and 0.08 mbps Upload, I was evntually told that an engineer was coming out. The enigineer appeared the afternoon before we left, I spoke to him, he told me he'd been out a month previous. He had told the host that the issue was that their dish was pointing at a huge tree, if they wanted better speeds, they would need to cut down the tree as he could not get th dish any higher. There was no router in our house, instead they were using a signal booster in a socket. I doubt very much if we would use VRBO again if the descriptions of properties can't be relied upon.

We are very disappointed that you have rated our property 2 out of 5. As you can see from previous reviews we score very highly.
We are particularly alarmed that the comments are aimed only at an internet issue - that was resolved fully during your stay.
As hosts we are used to guests that appreciate the exceptional landscape, being located in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the well thought out architecture and interiors and its proximity to many outstanding places to visit such as Benone Beach, Mussenden Temple and the Sperrin Mountains.
On your day of arrival you alerted us to the slow speed of the internet - immediately, I contacted our provider Blue Box who tried to adjust the settings in house. As you were still experiencing slow speeds (thank you for the vast amount of technical information provided) we organised for an engineer to visit the property. The earliest they could visit was Wednesday.
On that day the issue was resolved, without the need to cut down any ‘huge’ trees! The engineer simply changed the band width to which we were associated with - our speeds are now fully resolved and we have maintained our wonderful setting surrounded by mature trees and nature at its very best! It just needed a little time to resolve.
We can assure other guests that our internet is in full working order and our trees still in place! This is not a usual occurance!
So happy we had this lovely home as a retreat from the busy days of wedding festivities. It is thoughtfully composed, has visually stunning views through the windows and on the grounds, and really comfortable bed and linens. Lough Foyle shimmers in the evening light.
