Fantastic, safe apartment in perfect location with a lovely host

We are a family of three adults and two teenagers, and we loved our stay at this apartment. The location is superb, just steps from the Pantheon, with plenty of cafes and stores nearby (the crème croissants at the cafe in the corner are incredible!) and within walking distance to all the main sites. The apartment is large and clean, and comfortably fit our family - one mother, two 16 year olds and two grandparents (one with mobility issues). There is a lift, but there are some steps to get up to it - manageable though. The apartment was as advertised except there was no tv like there was in the pictures. Not usually a huge deal, but the World Cup was on and the kids were hoping to watch it. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and lives in the building. He made himself available in case we needed him and was quick to respond. We would absolutely stay again. Thanks for a lovely visit.

Great location

Great location and Gian very helpful and welcoming, there to meet us and to farewell us. The second bedroom and converted TV room noisy and hot and if using the TV room as third bedroom can only access bathroom through one of the bedrooms. Property needs a refurbish but value for price and was more than adequate for our purposes as we were out most of the time and ate out at the numerous restaurants nearby. Supermarket and bank/ATM within 200 metres. A happy experience in a beautiful City.

Good size apartment in a great location.

The apartment was very spacious and located literally metres from the Pantheon. It was ideal for our family of five. Gian the host was very friendly and helpful.

great location, great apartment!

Gian's friend Leon met us at the apartment and gave us some tips of where to eat and what to do. Gian also organised a transfer for us to the airport at the end of our stay. Communication through the booking process and upon arrival was easy, Gian was very approachable and friendly. The apartment was very spacious, clean and exactly as described/pictured. As for location you could not do better. Central to everything, within walking distance to all tourist attractions (even the Vatican was only a pleasant site filled 30 minutes or so). We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect holiday rental

We are a family of five who stayed at this fantastic apartment at the end of July 2015. It was clean and very spacious, and the air-conditioning was wonderful, after walking in the summer heat! The kitchen also had everything we needed, as we made breakfast each morning and snacks when taking a break during the heat of the day. The central location of the apartment is perfect - we were able to easily walk to all of the sites, (a must with small children!) and enjoy the vibrant ambience of old Rome. There was a convience store right next door, a supermarket just off the piazza, plus great ice cream and coffee shops everywhere! The owner was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout, including organising transfers to and from the apartment, and was available whenever we had any questions. The apartment had everything we needed, and we didn't experience any noise from the people walking on the street below (I think the windows are double-glazed). I agree with the other reviewer - I would thoroughly recommend this apartment - its location is amazing, as is the wonderful service from the owner. It's at a good price and had everything we needed plus more.

Lovely apartment in the best location!

This apartment is spacious, cool (even in the height of summer) and quiet - all in a fantastic, really central location. Having two (nice new) bathrooms when travelling with teenagers is a definite bonus! Having a lift was useful for moving cases. The apartment had everything we needed, plus some lovely art on the walls! Gian was super helpful, and offered a warm welcome, thank you. The apartment is really central, so we could walk everywhere easily and so close to the Pantheon, it's incredible! We would definitely book again - just need an excuse to return!...

This apartment was perfect for what we needed. It is in a great location and walking distance to most places. It was super clean and so quiet. My husband, 3 teens and I really enjoyed staying here and would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay in Rome

Wonderful flat in Rome. It’s on the third floor but there is a tiny elevator if needed. Air con in each room. Bathrooms were large and well equipped. Host was very helpful, responsive and friendly. Felt super safe and secure, and was in a wonderful location right in the tourist area. Laundry is an all in one unit that washes then dries. Clothes needed to line dry after quite a bit after. But otherwise was very handy. If we visit Rome again we would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful Gem in Bustling Area

We had a fabulous stay at the appartment. It was a wonderful location! Gian was a fantastic host and was extremely flexible, communicative, and easy to work with. Fantastic apartment and location!!

This was the perfect apartment for our family of 4 (“kids” are 18 and 22)! The apartment was spacious and comfortable, in a fantastic location right by the Pantheon, had a lift/elevator, and the air conditioning worked great on hot summer days! Gian was an excellent host, was great at communicating, and took time to show us how things worked and gave a few recommendations in the neighborhood. I would absolutely stay here again!

Great location

The location is absolutely perfect! Minutes from the Pantheon and equal walking distance to both the Colosseum and the Vatican. Gian welcomed us on our arrival and was very helpful. His family lives in the building so we felt very safe. He provided coffee which was amazing! Basic toiletries were included but we needed to purchase soap for the shower. The single beds were very small and uncomfortable. The master had beautiful doors that you could open and the bed was slightly more comfortable than the others. There was no TV so be informed if that is important to you. Good A/C, good wifi, older building that could use some mild renovations but all in all, we had an excellent time in Gian’s place and would definitely recommend.

Perfect location for our family’s Rome exploration

We loved Gian’s home right at the Pantheon. It was conveniently located so we could walk to the Spanish steps, Vatican, colosseum, etc. we also enjoyed the spaciousness so kids could have their space and adults theirs and then also a room for playing games or reading while others slept. It was nice that he also had coffee available for us. We loved this city center, spacious spot. We loved looking out the windows onto the street.

In the middle of everything.

Had a great time here. Place is as shown on pictures. Clean. Spacious. Updated bathrooms. Light and airy. Everything works. Good WiFi. Has clothes washer and elevator which is a plus. Beds are comfortable. There are so many restaurants (and gelato shops) right outside the door. Taxi stand nearby. Two supermarkets across the piazza. Host (and his mom) were super nice. Highly recommend.

Perfect Roman Holiday

Gina’s apartment on Via del Seminario is spacious, clean, comfortable, and close to so many attractions. While the street is busy, the 3rd floor location blocks much of the noise. The air conditioning was a literal cool treat during the hot days. And the convenience of an elevator was a true blessing. Gian was communicative and responsive and the apartment was ready early! For our first trip in Rome, this apartment contributed to our overall enjoyment!

Highly recommend

This was our second time renting from the host and as with the first time it was an awesome experience. Gian is accommodating and helpful. I experienced some health issues during our trip and he checked on me everyday and provided guidance on where to seek medical assistance when needed. I highly recommend this apartment and always look to rent from Gian. It’s a home away from home when we are in Rome.

Perfect Stay in Rome

If we are ever lucky enough to go back to Rome we hope to stay here. Our host Pietro was so fantastic, he met us at the apartment and gave us a good instructions and local information. I think this is the best location. It was very easy walking to all the sites yet it was a quiet, a small haven away from the hustle and bustle. Excellent eating within a couple minutes. There is a small coffee and pastry shop directly across the street from Armando al Pantheon - just fabulous, we went there everyday. The apartment itself is just as as stated: spacious, everything works, comfortable beds and seating, just perfect. And very affordable. No hidden costs, which I cannot say for all the VRBO's we had in Italy. Thank you Pietro.

Fantastic apartment, perfect location, top host.

As you will see from other reviews, this apartment is a real find, and is ideal for a family or group of people. It’s hard to come to a decision about what its greatest asset is, but they certainly include: - Location. Simply could not be better. On the doorstep of the Pantheon and exactly where you want to be for the main sights of Rome. Virtually everywhere is walkable; culture and nightlife is on your doorstep - Comfort. Even though it has a central location, close the door and you have a peaceful haven in which to rest, sleep and eat (if you choose). You would never know you were in the heart of the city and the apartment is spacious, well appointed and comfortable, complete with heating and air-con. - The host. Gian met us on (our late) arrival and couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful. This gave us confidence that we were in good hands, as indeed we were. Highly recommended from a family of travellers (two boys, 9 and 11) as a place to enjoy the city both at day and night. Thanks to Gian for a wonderful stay.
