This modern detached bungalow ( sleeps four people in two bedrooms) is just 80 metres from the seashore , with private beach access, is located in the quiet crofting hamlet of Melvaig, near Gairloch.
The house overlooks the sea, with amazing sunsets and views of Skye, Harris and Lewis. The Beinn Eighe reserve and Torridon mountains are just a short drive away from the numerous sandy beaches, coves and bays which are located around Melvaig, Gairloch and Red Point.
Minke whales are often seen breaking water from the comfort of the lounge.

Schottland pur!

Traumhafte Lage für jeden, der Natur pur und Einsamkeit sucht, und keine Angst vorm Regen und vor Schafen hat. Die kurvigen Straßen waren ein Genuss mit dem Motorrad! Das Häuschen selber ist großartig und hervorragend ausgestattet, aber leider mit ein paar kleinen technischen und hygienischen Mängeln.

Great holiday

Fantastic cottage in a wonderful remote location. We saw a killer whale and seals from the window which was amazing! Wonderfully stocked house which was very warm and comfortable. Lots of great activities nearby to take part in. Def recommend!

We spotted an otter by the lighthouse, deer just outside the cottage and seals in the sea. Facilities are excellent. The view is superb. We had a great time.

Sunsets and peaceful highland activities.

Brilliant views, well equipped. Great communication from the host. Lots of information and books available to plan activities. We walked, went to the beach on the hot days, did a sea kayaking trip, and had a great lunch in Badachro at the inn.

Ferienwohnung mit spektakulärem Meerblick

Die Wohnung ist hervorragend ausgestattet, ein Wohnzimmer mit Blick aufs Meer und die Inseln (Fernglas mitnehmen), 2 Schlafzimmer (ein Zimmer mit Ehebett, ein Zimmer mit 2 Betten), Bad mit Dusche und Wanne, die Küche hat alles, was man braucht (Geschirrspüler, WM, Trockner usw.), alles sehr sauber und in Ordnung. Wir empfanden das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis als sehr gut. Das Haus im Dunkeln zu finden war nicht ganz einfach, aber sehr hilfsbereite Dorfbewohner haben uns durch mehrere Schafgatter hindurch zu dem Haus geführt, die Ankunftszeit ist egal, denn man findet den Schlüssel in einer Safebox. Vielen Dank an David und herzliche Grüße

Rona review from wet windy relaxed week with 2 dogs

Immaculately presented, perfect relaxing bolthole. Need more plastic utensils to keep your lovely pans that way. Being as highland folk we are aware of common grazing etiquette, but would be useful to highlight this to potential dog owners planning a visit. Directions to property could have included turn left at the post box down the gravel track as a clear landmark.
