About this property

Luxury Lodge with shared Pool and free in lodge WIFI

Enviably located on South Lakes Leisure Village, the proud recipient of the David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award and a Visit Britain 5* Park is our Luxury Lodge.


CORONAVIRUS PLEASE NOTE:
If the park has to close due to Covid we will offer alternative dates or a refund .

Due to the current situation we have positioned Hand Sanitizer for guest use as you enter the lodge , and the lodge will be cleaned to a a high standard by Owners rather than a cleaning company to avoid unnecessary footfall .
We will also be operating a contactless check in .

The Lodge with Lake views is light and spacious and offers a very comfortable and relaxing stay in wonderful surroundings.

The open plan Lounge/Dininig area has 2 cream leather sofas and a cream leather armchair, a living flame electric fire, smart HDTV and WIFI connection.

French doors lead out on to the spacious decking area where there is a rattan table and 6 chairs.

The dining area comfortably seats 6 .

The kitchen is well equipped with Electric Oven and Gas Hob, built in Fridge Freezer, Microwave, Kettle, Toaster, Dolce Gusto coffee machine and a Blender/Juicer.

The master bedroom has built in wardrobes, matching bedside tables, TV , hairdryer and an Ensuite Shower room with electric shaver point, heated towel rail and Amtico flooring.

An additional Double bedroom and a Twin bedroom both with fitted wardrobes .

A family bathroom with heated towel rail and Amtico flooring.

Outside is a large decked seating area where you can enjoy Alfresco dining or simply sit back, relax and enjoy the view. There is also a BBQ for your use.
There is parking at the lodge for 2 medium sized cars.

The private lake is suitable for Fishing, Kayaking, Windsurfing or Sailing (using your own equipment).

There is a Bar and Restaurant onsite , along with a Gymnasium , Swimming pool and steam room . Exercise classes are also available (All payable locally).

1/3 of a mile away is Pine Lake where water sport enthusiasts can enjoy a day on the lake.

There are lovely walks in the local area and many country pubs to visit.


Coronavirus: We have added hand sanitizer machine as you enter the lodge , and antibacterial hand wash is available inside for guest use.
We clean the lodge ourselves to a high standard and are taking all precautions to ensure a safe stay.

Good communication and we were advised of early entry to the lodge which was great. Tea coffee sugar milk shortbread and a bottle of Prosecco were nice touches and the lodge itself was very clean and comfortable.

Great Break in an excellent location

We had a short but fun packed stay! Excellent on site facilities and we managed kayaking and walking in three counties in one weekend. Super accommodation and easy to get too!

Really enjoyed our stay, good facilities and great base to explore the local area. Only downside was excessive heat at night due to extremely good weather so we suggest having fans available for clients.

Fantastic stay at this lovely lodge!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lodge for our family pre Christmas break. The lodge was immaculately clean, and was a lovely touch having tea coffee and milk on arrival, Thankyou. The site itself is lovely, we took our dog and it was lovely to walk round with them. The on site swimming pool is lovely and warm, my husband used the gym too and liked this. Overall a fab stay Thankyou so much!

South Lakes leisure village lodge

Excellent lodge, beautiful interior and great location for exploring the Lake District and Lancashire. Very comfy beds, everything provided in the lodge for a relaxing holiday. Would definitely recommend.

Pleasant Post New Year Break

Comfortable stay for six people aged between 63 and 2 years old. Convenient for the motorway to visit the heart of the Lake District, with good on-site facilities. Will definitely return in the future.

Family Stay

Excellent lodge in a gorgeous location. Well kept and beautifully presented. Location is ideal for Morecambe Bay and The Lakes. The on site restaurant/bar serves excellent food and is pet-friendly. We did use the leisure centre once. It’s £20 for 2 people for the day so you might want to make a day of it.

Family break and it was lovely . Cabin was so nice with all little extras like milk , biscuits , hand wash etc . Living area so comfy with recliners . Location perfect for the lakes and Morecambe visits. Pub / cafe on site not great although nice location . There is a great pub and farm with cafe couple mins drive away .

Well what can i say about this place, the location is a little hidden gem, beautiful views over looking the lake.The lodge itself is very clean,and well laid out, with all the home comforts.Ideally situated for the short runs to Morecombe, Kendal & Windermere and surrounding areas.Victoria the host was very helpful with all my questions regarding our stay. Lodge cosy and comfortable decorated for Xmas too.Beds very comfortable as were the sofas..Plenty of pans etc all you would need.Lovely gift of wine and biscuits plus milk tea and coffee.Lovely site shall be back.Would definitely recommend..

Owner was quick responding. Property was neat and clean, great location

Great setting. Property clean and tidy inside. Outside can do with a clean as it was covered in cobwebs. Could explain what is on offer and how bookings work with pool and restaurant. Pool great! Restaurant food and service great! Overall we enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.
