Location - city centre and not too many steps Air con Good food recommendations from staff I think you could leave basics such as coffe, sugar, salt pepper, oil . Dish washing liquid available but no sponge. I suggest also putting in a little shelf in the shower

The apartment is clean, with a comfortable bed. Limited cookware. The stairs are steep with limited railings. The one problem, and it is a big one for us and the reason for the 2 stars, is the noise from the upstairs neighbors and fishery next door. Could not sleep! However, our hosts Diego and Anna went out of their way to help, and we are very appreciative!!

Fishy Little Nest

Please get a railing on the side of the last set of stairs to the Little Next. My husband and I are 75 and 77 years young and we found the ascent and descent tricky. Also, you might indicate this information in the description as I don't think that we would have selected the Little Nest. Also, the early morning opening of the fish suppliers was not pleasant. The head man screams on the phone in a very loud voice and it goes on for easily 2 hours until 9 AM.

Disappointed in so many ways

The pictures were deceiving. The apartment was more like little cave than little nest. No windows to the outside. Shuddered windows to an alley way and steps. The steps were dangerous, slippery when wet. Many steps to get to the apartment, bringing luggage up the steps was horrible. No window to the outside in the bathroom, no fan or vent. Mold in the bathroom. The alley smelled of fish from the pescateria. No parking, we had to park in a lot that we had to pay for. Varenna is a lovely little town on beautiful Lake Como, it is a shame that this apartment ruined our experience.

Perfect Location

The apartment is in a perfect location - easily walkable to everything in town. The management company has a storefront across the street from the property and they were very accommodating for our arrival, which made the checkin and check out process seamless.

Appartamento carino

La posizione ottima e la buona ristrutturazione dell'appartamento E' da migliorare sicuramente la dotazione degli accessori/arredi. Mancano le tende, per avere un minimo di privacy. In cucina mancano elettrodomestici ed utensili fondamentali, come: forno a microonde, tagliere, cavatappi, apri bottiglie, coltello per tagliare il pane, ecc., ecc. Nel bagno mancano: porta rotolo per carta igienica, porta sapone nella doccia, porta asciugamani ed una mensola per appoggiare beauty case, rasoio, ecc. In camera mancano le lampade da lettura sui comodini e ci sono pochi appendiabiti all'interno del guardaroba. In conclusione, l'appartamento è gradevole, ma per essere goduto appieno va completato con l'inserimento di arredi/accessori fondamentali.
