The apartment is located on the second floor of the Giotto condominium, located in the historic center of Padua, a few steps from the pedestrian area.
Recently renovated, it has a bedroom (double or twin), a bathroom, kitchen, living room and a large terrace with a panoramic view of the square, furnished with table and chairs, as well as a sitting area with outdoor sofas.
In the living room there is a double sofa bed.
Equipped with every comfort: dishwasher, washing machine, air conditioning, lift, concierge service, adjacent to secure parking.
Thanks to the central location the apartment is convenient to transport services (rail, public transport ..) to historical monuments and churches (eg. Cappella degli Scrovegni) and at 50m you can find a supermarket, a pharmacy, newsagent, bars and restaurants.
For tourists, we recommend the navigation service of the canals of Padua, which starts right at the Contarine gates (which are located in front of the condominium).

The apartment was everything we could have wanted. Very clean and presentable, with a private balcony to enjoy in the evenings. Close to the station and places to visit, especially the Scrovegno Chapel just round the corner. Melania was very prompt in replying to any queries we had. Overall, a great time in a lovely city with few tourists.

Returning to Padova

This is the second time we have stayed in this apartment. It is wonderful. We are academics visiting the University and enjoying the city of Padova and the surrounding attractions. Our preference is to stay in Carlo's apartment on our return visits. Excellent.

Academics on a writing retreat

We spent 75 glorious days in Padova in this apartment over the Christmas season. It was an excellent location to all of the old city, Christmas markets and the delights of Padova. It had everything we needed and I especially appreciated the dishwasher and washing machine. The apartment was quiet and we made excellent progress on our writing. We loved the winter here as it made an excellent (climate) change to our Australian summer. Carlo was a wonderful host. We hope to come again.

Nice apartment, very convenient location.....

Comfortable apartment for two conveniently located on the edge of the old city, and two "tram" stops from the railway station, though difficult to find on arrival. Apartment was roomy, with a nice verandah. Lacked a few things that some might expect, for example, jug and toaster. Air conditioner and hot water good, but shower needs a little work. In all, we had a good stay.

Enjoyable 3-month stay in Padua

We enjoyed our time in Padua. The apartment was ideally located close to the historical centre and near the train station. Also close to shops. It was ideal for the two of us. Generally speaking the facilities were good although we were disappointed that the shower needed a good clean. We also noticed a leak that caused the wall near the balcony to be damp and some mound growth. We reported this and we believe it was being sorted out as we were leaving.

Absolut zentral gelegen

Schöne Wohnung mit guter Ausstattung. Super Lage in Bahnhofs- und Busbahnhofsnähe (für z.B. Ausflüge nach Venedig oder Chioggia) und auch nahe dem Stadtzentrum, alles ist zu Fuß erreichbar. Es gibt sehr gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, fast um die Ecke ein Despar und, etwas gehobener, die Geschäfte unten beim Palazzo della ragione. Die Wohnung, besonders die Loggia, schaut auf den Fotos besser aus als in echt, ist aber o.k. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis könnte von daher etwas besser sein.

Zentral gelegenes und dennoch ruhiges Appartment

Wir, drei Erwachsene, verbrachten 9 Tage zu Ostern in Padova. Das Objekt liegt relativ ruhig und zentral: 5 Min. zum Bahnhof, 10 Min. zum Palazzo della Ragione, und gerade mal 3 Minuten zur Cappella degli Scrovegni. Die Küche ist relativ klein, nur 2 Kochplatten, kein Backofen, dafür aber mit Geschirrspüler. Das Appartement ist gut geeignet für 2, max. 3 Personen. Schönes Bad und schöne Loggia, auf der man am Nachmittag Sonne hat. Die Kommunikation mit Melania war ausgezeichnet. Ein toller Ausgangspunkt, um Padua zu erkunden und um Ausflüge nach Venezia, Treviso, Vicenza, Verona oder Monselice zu unternehmen. Wir kommen jederzeit gern wieder!

Schöne Wohnung, sehr zentral

Tolle Wohnung mit sehr netten Vermietern und Hausmeister. Tolle Lage, zu Fuß alles gut erreichbar im Zentrum. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder dort buchen. Gute Ausstattung bis hin zur wichtigen Klimaanlage.

Schöne Wohnung in hervorrander Lage

Die Wohnung entspricht den Bildern. Die Lage ist toll, wir haben fast alles zu fuß besichtigen können. Kurze Wege zum Supermarkt und zu verschiedenen Restaurants. Die Nähe zum Bahnhof ermöglicht kurze Fahrt nach Venedig (4,35 €) ohne Parkplatzsuche. Wir haben uns trotz des nicht so guten Wetters sehr wohl gefühlt. Melania war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Posizione centrale

L'appartamento è ben tenuto, pulito e curato proprio come si vede nelle immagini. Il proprietario è stato disponibile e simpatico. Consiglio soprattutto per la posizione centrale: vicinanza sia al centro storico di Padova che alla stazione dei treni.

Pflege nötig

Die Lage ist wirklich optimal, die Wohnung ist gut geschnitten und vollständig möbliert. An vielen Stellen ist aber etwas Pflege nötig: Die Spülmaschine war völlig verkalkt, die Kaffeemaschine funktionierte anfangs auch nicht (auch verkalkt), aus den Waschbecken lief das Wasser anfangs kaum ab und der Abflussstopfen im Bad war defekt. Toilettenpapier war auch nicht vorhanden, obwohl laut Beschreibung vorgesehen. Aber all das lässt sich leicht abstellen und wir würden trotzdem gerne wiederkommen.

Great location and apartment

The location of this apartment is great, a 10 minute walk to both the train station and downtown. The apartment is in a modern building and feels very safe. Everything worked just fine and we had no problems during our stay. There are bars, coffee shops and a grocery store all within a few minutes walk. I would recommend this apartment to anyone staying in Padua and will be back on my next visit to the area.

6 giorni in giro nei dintorni di Padova. Appartamento come da foto e da descrizione (e non è poco!!). Praticamente a 2 minuti a piedi dal centro. Il bel tempo ( anche se freddo) ci ha agevolato sicuramente ad andare a visitare oltre la città anche diverse località vicine. Consigliato.

Die Ferienwohnung liegt sehr zentral*****

sowohl für Erkundungen der Stadt zu Fuß als auch zum Bahnhof. Die Beschreibung der Ferienwohnung entspricht den Tatsachen. Beachten Sollte man, dass die Parkgarage in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft sehr gut geführt wird, das Auto dort sehr sicher steht, es aber auch nicht preiswert ist. Die Ausstattung der Küche mit Kochgeräten ließe sich optimieren. Die Töpfe hatten keinen Deckel und wir haben uns einen Wasserkocher gekauft. Insgesamt verbleibt aber eine sehr positive Beurteilung.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in guter Innenstadt-Lage, in unmittelbarer Nähe der Arena-Kapelle. Für zwei Personen ist das Appartment sehr gut geeignet, es ist gut geschnitten. Wunderbar ist die große Loggia. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen.

Great location

The apartment was very nice and as described. Note that there is no stove but there is a microwave. The store for groceries is very close by. The location was walkable to most of the sites and there is easy access to transportation to those further. Would recommend to those visiting Padua.

Tolle Stadt, tolles Appartment, toller Urlaub

Wir waren zusammen mit unserem Hund für 8 Tage in Padua und es war ein toller, abwechslungsreicher Aufenthalt. Die Stadt ist superschön, die Umgebung bietet mit seinen Städten z.B. Venedig, Viacenza etc. und den eugianischen Hügeln, Brentakanal... viel Abwechslung. Das Apartment ist sehr gut ausgestattet, die Lage superzentral und die Vermieter sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Tolle Ferienwohnung in der City von Padua

Wir (2 Erwachsene + 2 Kinder) waren für 1 Woche in der Ferienwohnung und haben die tolle Lage der Wohnung und das Appartement genossen. Für 4 Personen ist die Ferienwohnung gerade noch gut, für 2 Personen sicher ideal. Bad und WC sind sehr schön und die überdachte Terrasse ist super, da kann man abends locker noch ein paar schöne Stunden verbringen oder z.B. das Frühstück zu sich nehmen. Von der Wohnung aus sind es wenige Minuten in die City oder zum Bahnhof (wenn man z.B. nach Venedig möchte). Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es in der Nähe vom Bahnhof für 6.- Euro/24 Stunden und sind in 7 Minuten zu erreichen. Auch ein kleiner Supermarkt ist in unmittelbarer Nähe (100 m). Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. WLAN ist derzeit kostenlos verfügbar.

Empfehlenswert

Wir, 50 und 58 Jahre, wohnten für zehn Tage im Appartement und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Alles war sauber und gepflegt. Der große überdachte Balkon ist für ein Freiluftfrühstück und für Entspannung nach abwechslungsreichen Tagen ideal. Die Lage am Rande der Altstadt ist perfekt, um alle Sehenswürdigkeiten bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen. Bis zum Bahnhof läuft man nur wenige Minuten. Mit dem Zug erreicht man bequem und preiswert alle Ziele, die sich in der Region anbieten. Wir waren froh, dass wir auf einen Mietwagen verzichtet haben. Gesamturteil: empfehlenswert!

Great place to discover Padova and the Veneto without a car

During my 4-weeks stay, I enjoyed this apartment a lot. You can trust the pictures, it is really very comfortable. There are three huge closets available for your clothes or suitcases! Bed, sofa and chairs are of great quality - it is indeed a full double bed with two mattresses! The terrace feels like an extra room - sunny in the afternoon, overlooking the patio with fountain, also very handy to dry your clothes when making the laundry (very good washing machine). The location is considered the upper-scale part (financial district) of Padova, with my personal highlights within 200 m walking distance (since all buildings around Piazzetta Conciapelli are accessible through galleries): the classy Baessato bar for your cappuccino and brioche in the morning and a Tramezzino and Spritz for aperitif, a Despar market for your daily needs (next to the energym club), a pharmacy, a vegetable/fruit dealer (Piazzetta Forzate' Beato Giordano), the best Pizza in town (Savonarola), easy start for a stroll or jogging along the canal, Buddha Indian restaurant in Via Giotto, but also Hermès and Gucci for (window) shopping! Although the train station, tram and city center are very close, the apartment is extremely quiet, no street noise or anything. The building is elegant, has four elevators, two back-doors to the patio, one front door to the Porte Contarine. The owners are very nice, accessible and helpful. For instance, I asked for a strong internet connection to be able to work on my laptop and they installed a high-speed device. The concierge Angelo is also very attentive. Mille grazie! (Based on the recommendation of other guests, I planned to also rent a bike from GoodBike Padova, but on some days, all bikes were gone from the station in Via Giotto and as a visitor, I did not feel comfortable since the bike rules seemed rather chaotic to me.)

Magnifico soggiorno a Padova

Appartamento situato in un contesto elegante, finemente arredato e ben equipaggiato per un soggiorno confortevole nella bellissima Padova, a circa 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione e dal centro. Ottima accoglienza da parte di Melania e di suo fratello Carlo. Un soggiorno da 10 e lode.
