Beautiful forests, cool in summer, with many routes to do, for hikers or for the most seasoned mountaineers. Paradise for climbing and outdoor activities. With several recreational areas to spend the day, ideal for children, barbecue, etc. in La Piza, Los Alamicos or Camping Sierra de María. Recommended visits to the Castle of Vélez Blanco, Cueva de Los Letreros. If you go with children a visit to the Farm School Cortijo Fuente Grande is highly recommended.
For lovers of flora and fauna you cannot miss a visit to the Umbrian Botanical Garden of La Virgen. Vultures, eagles, hawks, and lots of forest birds are easy to spot and hear throughout the Park
