Stopover 471: Tranquility on Lake Champlain

Description:

Cottage directly from Lake Champlain, in Missisquoi Bay. Just 15 minutes from the U. S.A. border Ideal for a couple or a family.

Comfortable and fully equipped. Three closed bedrooms (bedding provided). Kitchen with oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, raclette pan, fondue pan, ... as well as all the necessary dishes, utensils and cutlery. Shower room with bath / shower (towels provided). Living room with television and blue-ray player.

BBQ, patio set and outdoor fireplace.


Boats available:

2 kayaks (solo) and life jackets are available free of charge.

Beautiful outdoor space, lots of kayaks and paddle boards to use, clean and spacious cottage, perfect for our needs. The host was very responsive and helpful. Would stay here again :)

Excellent vacation spot

Stayed with some friends over night. The place was spotless, well appointed and modern enough where it counts. I love the lakeside location- would definitely return in the summer!! Our hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with. They thoughtfully provided many amenities which really helped the overall experience. 10 on 10!! Thanks very much..

Parfait pour notre souper en famille

Ce chalet est magnifiquement situé sur le bord du Lac Champlain. Le lever du soleil sur le lac est à couper le souffle, ça vaut la peine de se lever tôt pour l’admirer. À l’extérieur, un espace pour faire un feu avec une quantité de chaises confortables pour tous les invités. Les matelas et la literie étaient confortables. Comme nous célébrions un anniversaire, nous avons cuisiné un souper pour 11 personnes, petit point négatif, les équipements de cuisine sont vieillots et un peu dépareillés. Pour le reste, tout était bien pour le prix demandé. Reflète bien ce que vous voyez sur les photos. Le point fort du chalet: le lac et son terrain.

Très bien situé et une magnifique vue. Beaucoup d’équipement sportif pour profiter du magnifique plan d’eau. Rien de très luxueux mais on s’y sent confortable comme dans un vrai chalet.

Superbe endroit!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour! La vue est spectaculaire, le chalet possède tout ce qui il faut, incluant kayak, paddle board, foyer extérieur ainsi que toutes les commodités. Quelques points mineures, l’eau était haute et il et difficile d’accéder au lac. Un beau petit quai à l’avant serait un atout de plus. A noter aussi que si vous êtes un gros groupe et devez utiliser le divan lit dans le solarium, celui-ci n’as pas de rideaux ou autre. Même chose pour la chambre avec la porte patio qui n’a que des rideaux semi transparent. Par contre si vous êtes levé tôt, la vue vaut vraiment la peine! En résumé, je recommande cet endroit sans hésiter!

Nicely set-up for a family or group

We came from the States to visit family in Quebec. This was a nice spot to get together and the rental is nicely set-up for a big group. The unit has a lot of nice amenities. We did not know this was a big area for kiteboarders before we visited. We enjoyed watching them from the back deck.

Nicer than expected

Starting from communication with the owners to arriving everything was excellent,The place was much nicer than expected, clean and well stocked/ equipped ( Toiletry, dishes, smart tv, high speed internet, fire wood, etc.)Very quiet and private. Spa like bathroom, beautiful view of the mountain from the very cosy solarium. 3 nice clean bed rooms and pulI out couch if needed. I will be recommending to friends.

Excellent experience. Cottage is very clean and well equipped. The view on the Missiquoi bay with the sun and birds is magic.
