There is a laundry area with a washer and dryer. A deck with outside seating and a gas barbeque is located off the great room. There is a lawn with a great big fire pit surrounded by log benches and plenty of firewood. Surrounding it all is the virgin forest.

Overall the location is amazing away from everyone and surrounded by the woods. Quiet and cozy. House def needs alot of updates but overall pleased....
This home is a masterpiece of interior design! Very unique, absolutely adorable, comfortable, and well equipped. Every single detail is thought through. Great location too. Don’t think twice - book it and you’ll love it!
One very old restroom for six paying guests was poor. All other parts of the hame was as expected.

We enjoyed our stay. Lots of room for a family of 5. Love the property and might book again. Regarding issues; the sliding glass door handle is jenky and broken, there is no working light in the very steep staircase, the oven still wasn't working, bathroom door is difficult to open and close and definitely too narrow to allow wheel chair access. Also, we were afraid to even try the pellet stove as the lid to the hopper was of and pellets were everywhere. Having said all that, while it is not modern and definitely shows its age, I would book again
This was just what I was looking for when I shopped for a rental. Its private and charming if not a little rustic...well, a lot rustic. But I really enjoyed it.
Rustic, private retreat, a little hard to find but that's what I liked about it.

The property was beautiful! A few minor interior things, dead light bulbs etc. Beds were fine, we just wished for a few extra blankets. The travel sized toiletries were a nice touch!A few things we wished we had prior knowledge of:1. Upon entering the road, it looks like a private driveway with a sign stating you are entering private property. Keep going you are at the right place.2. You really need a 4 wheel drive to get up. We had a minivan and almost didn't make it. We were grateful that it wasn't raining.3. It is rutted, with a really deep one on the side.
The property is very cool. Very private. Our only regret is that we were only able to stay for one night. Didn’t get a chance to enjoy the outdoor amenities.
Very nice house tucked in woodland that feels like a remote retreat but is just outside Florence. Living room and outdoor spaces are very peaceful surrounded by woodland and there's a lot of effort to make guests comfortable throughout.
