An Edwardian style house built in 1860 with comfortable modern tones. Beautiful appointed gardens with ample parking set in its own grounds. The house is in the small granite town of Dalbeattie which is ideally for walking, mountain biking. fishing, golf and other outdoor activities with easy access to the whole of Dumfries and Galloway .The house has 5 elegant bedrooms with king size beds. 2 bedrooms are on the ground floor with a ground floor bathroom. The house is close to an area of outstanding natural beauty. This area is perfect to watch the stars. There is also a national dark sky park close by and the beautiful beaches.

Cleaning:
Hand sanitizers are located throughout the house. A hand sanitizer station is located outside of the house. We have a cleaner that comes in and she has a certificate of COVID-19 cleaning practices. All keys are sanitized before check-in.

Ein wundervolles Haus mit einem sehr schönen Garten davor. Es liegt in einem kleinen, schönen Ort mit so netten Menschen. Der Gastgeber war immer für uns da und wir haben wundervolle Tage erlebt!

Fantastic stay in a beautiful location

We had a lovely time in this gorgeous house. The town is small and quaint with lovely walks through the streets but easy access to other attractions. The hosts were welcoming and friendly and made us feel right at home. The house itself is so beautifully decorated in comfortable style that pays homage to a gracious past. We were very happy with our stay.

Fab house!

Alan's communication with us was excellent and very quick even before we had booked the property. He was really helpful. The house itself is beautiful and huge, and in a great location for us in Dalbeattie where we could easily access some of the 7 staines mountain bike parks including the one in Dalbeattie itself. It is well equipped and the beds are really comfy. We look forward to returning in the future!

Flexible host

Alan was very helpful and allowed us early entry due to bad weather. He was very quick to respond to a request for help. The bedrooms are all large and very comfortable. Only down side was upstairs kitchen- not easy when cooking for a big family.
