Mourelo ( means small olive tree in the Cretan dialect) located in Kalathas, Akrotiri, allows you to explore all the beauties that Chania offers. 900 m Distance from the beach, 9 km from the center of Chania, 5 km from the International Airport of Chania Chania.
The building is a miniature of the Agios Nikolaos Promontory of Molos, which is located on the jetty of the Venetian Harbor of Chania, forming a single unit together with the old shipyard and Faros. The main features of these are the natural stone, the two arches, and the windows on the south side of the building
The villa stands out for its traditional architecture and natural scenery. On the ground floor there is a living room, a dining room, a kitchen that is fully equipped with an oven, fridge, cooking hobs, utensils, crockery, coffee maker, 1 WC hot water at any time and finally a working desk. On the 1st floor there are 2 bedrooms with air conditioning and sunny verandas overlooking the sea and the mountains. There is also a second bathroom with a washing machine. Outside there is a lawn dining room, sun lounger, outdoor area.

Tolles , modernes Ferienhaus und sehr netter Vermieter

Unser Urlaub im Mourelo Haus Chania war sehr schön gewesen. Tolles Haus, sehr modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Klimaanlage in den Schlafzimmern, Insektenschutzgitter vor allen Fenstern Rollläden, alles top! Sehr netter und gastfreundlicher Vermieter, der einem die Ankunft und den Urlaub mit netten Aufmerksamkeiten bereichert (Obstkorb und Wasser, Saft und Raki im Kühlschrank, Olivenöl und Knabbersachen stehen bereit). Haben wir so nett noch nie erlebt. Tolle Badebucht nur 900 m entfernt. Aber: Man sollte sich nicht an Flugzeugen stören, da der Flughafen nur etwa 5 km entfernt ist und auch die Nato unter der Woche gerne Übungsflüge macht.

Das Objekt, sowie auch den Vermieter, können wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Alles ist wie auf den Bildern dargestellt, der Garten sogar noch ein wenig größer und auch die untere Terasse verfügt über einen sehr schönen Meerblick. Bereits vor unserer Ankunft war Xristoforos jederzeit für Fragen zu erreichen und hat von sich aus angeboten, da wir mit Kind reisten, ein Babybett zur Verfügung zu stellen. Da das mitreisende Kind jedoch schon älter war, bestand hier von unserer Seite aus kein Bedarf. Bei unserer Ankunft im Mourelo Haus wurden wir von Xristoforos sehr herzlich empfangen und mit einigen schönen Aufmerksamkeiten überrascht. Dir Unterkunft war sehr sauber und während unseres Aufenthaltes hatte Xristoforos jederzeit ein offenes Ohr für Fragen und Wünsche, ohne jedoch jemals aufdringlich zu sein. Auch seine Empfehlungen im Hinblick auf Restaurants oder Strände waren toll. Ab und an hört man natürlich die Flugzeuge des Flughafens Chania und manchmal haben wir auch die Jets des militärischen Flughafens gehört. Dies hatten wir jedoch aufgrund der Nähe zum Flughafen vorher bereits erwartet und es stellte für uns kein Problem dar und letztlich stimmt daher auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir würden uns jederzeit wieder für diese Unterkunft und den Vermieter entscheiden. Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub. Thank you Xristoforos!

Modernes, sehr sauberes Haus mit allem, was man braucht.

Das Haus hat uns positiv beeindruckt. Es ist modern eingerichtet und bietet alles, was man während des Urlaubs benötigt. Zum Strand sind es wenige Minuten zu Fuß (bergab), Geschäfte und Restaurants sind mit dem Auto gut erreichbar. Zu erwähnen ist jedoch, dass sich das Haus in unmittelbarer Nähe zu Flugplätzen befindet - zivil wie militärisch. Es ist daher nicht ausgeschlossen, morgens (bei uns war es nicht vor 9, soweit ich mich entsinne) unter der Woche von startenden Kampfjets geweckt zu werden. Xristoforos, der Vermieter, hat schon im Vorfeld via Whatsapp Kontakt aufgenommen und war durchweg freundlich, hilfsbereit und überaus flexibel. So stand er nicht nur für Fragen jeder Art zur Verfügung, sondern ließ es sich beispielsweise auch nicht nehmen, uns um 3 Uhr nachts persönlich zu verabschieden. Ebenso erwarten die Gäste bei der Anreise einige lokale Snacks. Am Dienstag und Donnerstag kam er vorbei, um die Pflanzen zu wässern, was wir allerdings nicht mitbekamen, weil wir unterwegs waren. Bevor er sich auf den Weg machte, sagte er Bescheid und fragte, ob wir etwas benötigten. Insgesamt war es ein angenehmer unkomplizierter Aufenthalt. Wir können das Haus nur weiter empfehlen.
