OCEANFRONT Avon- Askins Creek Dr. With abounding windows and sundecks, “REFLECTIONS” serves some of the island's most breathtaking ocean views, stretching all the way to the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse.

Once you've pulled into the driveway with ample parking, the kids can retreat to the first level game room with foosball table, 42" TV and day bed. The adults can lounge in the secluded, fully enclosed & screened in 8-person hot tub area with stereo system, and an adjacent room with half bath, wet bar & mini fridge to keep the drinks cold.

Upstairs, you'll be delighted to discover that all of the four bedrooms, including a queen master, have stunning ocean views and deck access. The third level great room glitters with the reflection of the ocean through the windows, and the spacious living area features comfortable sofas and large TV.

Dine at the large table, then retreat to the sprawling sun deck for after dinner coffee. The separate kitchen is large and fully equipped with plenty of elbow room to prepare family seafood feasts. There is another level with a king master bedroom and private bath.

Once you take in a sunrise from any of REFLECTIONS’ ocean filled rooms, you'll be reflecting on how soon you can come back.

*Guests have access to Kinnakeet Shores Pool & Tennis courts. You will sign in with the attendant using the house name.

Vacation Rental Protection Plan: This required non-refundable $95 plan covers accidental damage within the home with a coverage limit of $3,000. It does not cover theft or willful misconduct. Reflections #9

Stay was excellent - only a couple of issues to mention. Kitchen had quite a few ants and the hot tub jets continued to overheat and not run. Other than that our stay was great....we are looking to rent the same house again next year.

Hot tub is a dud

House was clean inside but needed some TLC. The bathrooms that weren’t pictured were tiny and in need of updating. The lower outside porches and stairs had a lot of Virginia Creeper vines that needed to be removed. The main problem was the hot tub. We specifically chose a house with a hot tub. It wasn’t working when we arrived. A service call was placed and a technician came out the following day. It worked for 20 minutes and that was it. After numerous calls we were finally told on Friday that repairs were at a standstill. I’m sure it is serviced between rentals and It is difficult to believe that you were not aware of the problem. If it doesn’t work you shouldn’t list it as an amenity. Honesty is always the best policy.

Great week in Hatteras

Overall great house! A few things could be fixed and the pans need to be replaced, but nice grill and house is stocked well overall! Would definitely stay here again!

The house was nice alot of stairs

It was hot in the house and we couldn’t turn the thermostat. The walk to the beach was so rough (since reflection was washed out).The smell in the house was awful (wet furniture n rugs)
