Great East Nashville spot for weekend fun

This was our second stay in East Nashville after falling in love with the area a couple years ago. We were traveling with another couple and the beauty of this rental was that we each had our own separate apartment where we could have a little private time between adventures around the city. The space was perfect for a couple (1BR/1BA) but it looked like a family of 4 might be able to use it since the sofa was a futon. The property is about a 2 mile walk from the bars on Broadway and about half that distance to the more local fun spots around East Nashville. We walked almost everywhere limiting Ubers to nights when we wanted to be someplace in a hurry. Shelby Avenue is filled with tons of cool homes and pleasant locals. This property made us feel like we were a part of their community. We had one breakfast at The Post East coffee shop/bakery and lunch at both Noble Kitchen and Five Points Pizza. All three were great. Christy was a the perfect host and made the process of check-in/out a breeze. She let us in a little early on the day of our arrival and let us park behind the house to avoid leaving the car on the street. All in all it was fantastic and I would stay here again in minute.
