Stay at the Adalgisa Lodge

This was an amazing experience. The place feels like it’s at the end of the world, but it’s surrounded by vineyards and nature. Activities are just all nearby. Gabriela is an amazing host and she helped us with everything from transport to getting food the first day of the year when everything was closed. We can’t recommend Mendoza, the lodge and Gabriela enough. We absolutely loved it.

A gorgeous place

From the moment we drove in and saw the place we were all enchanted. It was a wonderful experience. Lovely walks, amazing views - the perfect place to relax and recharge. The dogs and donkeys that live at the lodge were fun to have around. They made the walks very special. Gabriela was a perfect host - kind and thoughtful. The house was well equipped and filled with special touches.

I was brought up in a family of Italian, Catalan and Basque immigrants, who had left their home countries to look for luck in the New World. Very quickly the Furlotti family established a well known vinery in their new country, and it is therefore fair to say, I had no other choice: I had to follow the footsteps of her forefathers and start a life making wine myself.
Back in 2000 I converted the familiy’s Finca Adalgisa, a two hectare vineyard in the lovely village of Chacras de Coria, into Mendoza’s first rural hotel.
Since then I live in Mendoza, run a hotel, 2 wineries and now Altamira lodge .
