Lisbon Adventure

This property was perfect for my adult daughter and me to enjoy four days in Lisbon. The apartment’s location was ideal for touring— close to metro, sites, restaurants, and shopping, The space was quite large and nicely decorated. The kitchen was complete. Bedrooms were a nice size with comfortable beds and attractive decor. Although it is a busy neighborhood, the bedrooms were quiet. The area is very safe. Directions and check in were easy to follow.

Very comfortable apartment in the heart of many lovely things Lisbon has to offer .

The apartment was well equipped and easy to navigate throughout the city using the metro and trams. Ubers were reliable too and inexpensive!!

Lovely spot in historic area

This apartment is near almost everything in the historic section of Lisbon, as well as trams, taxis, metro, restaurants and food stores. If you have not been to Lisbon before, be aware it is built on hills and you should be physically fit! We did not use the kitchen much because there are so many good restaurants nearby. The beds were fine we were comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay at Magdalena Hyper Historic Center. The property is located in a perfect spot for touring around Lisbon on foot, by tram, or by Metro. The apartment is very well insulated from outside noise, considering it is on a busy street. You can hear footsteps from upstairs, but so it goes. The split-unit air conditioners keep things cozy, and the kitchen is very well equipped. The beds are comfortable, if firm, and the rainfall shower heads are super, with the water coming down in buckets. Outside of the large living/dining/kitchen area, the apartment is small and storage space for clothes, suitcases, etc., is tight. The elevator landing is a half-staircase above the apartment. We experienced some communication problems on arrival, as the airline lost my wife’s bag and we weren’t able to get to the apartment by the agreed-upon arrival time. When we did arrive, we couldn’t reach the owner easily and another owner let us into the building, only to discover that another family had moved into our apartment in error. We got that straightened out, but I recommend establishing an alternate communications channel to VRBO messages (we were not given a phone number for contact) prior to arrival.
