Terrible Experience and Property
We booked this property for eight nights. But upon arriving, we found this property was inaccurately described in the listing photos and description. The bathroom had black mold stains on the walls and ceilings, the bed linens were stained, the light fixture in the living room was broken and hanging out of the ceiling by electrical wire. There were holes in the wall, the walls were dirty and there was paint peeling and cracking with water stains especially in the bathroom. We notified the management within hours of arriving and submitted pictures. While we did not expect anything fancy, we did not feel safe or clean and our daughter started having headaches after the first night stay from the mold as she is highly allergic. We moved out after the first morning of our stay. We had to follow up for 4 days with the management company before any action was taken. On the fifth day of our booked stay (although we were not staying there) a handyman was sent to the property to "fix" the problems. We were expected to stay in the property and wait for these fixes and were not offered any compensation or refund. Upon the handyman's completion of work the management company sent us this "The mould is only in the bathroom, not in the whole property, and it is due to past guests not turning on the exhaust fan in the bathroom. It couldn't be fixed but you just need to turn on the ventilation to avoid it." Expecting guests to stay in a home with mold is unacceptable. The mold should be eradicated before anyone stays here again. We would not recommend staying at this property and are highly disappointed with the customer service we received from the management company.
