Luxury penthouse Mijas golf, beautifully decorated with mountain views.
Newly modernised we bought this property to compliment our other Penthouse on the resort of Los Golondrinas Phase 2 which has been very popular with families as well as golfers. Larger parties can book both apartments if available, the other is property number 8670289 . The apartment itself has been fully redecorated and furnished to a very high standard with new air conditioning and very spacious bedrooms. The penthouse is exceptionally large at 110m2 with a terrace for admiring the views at 25m2. With walking distance to the two main courses in Mijas you will be perfectly located for a golf break or family break around the large pool. The main bedroom has large doors opening on to the terrace creating a very light airy atmosphere and when you open those doors with your coffee in the morning the views are of Mijas Pueblo in the mountains and the pool area .The terrace itself has a six seat dining set perfect for outside dining which we love as the mountains are lit up beautifully in the evening. At Mijas golf we have a large heated swimming pool on the gated community in immaculately kept gardens and a private parking space underground to park your hire car or bike hire. Locally we have 5 bars and restaurants within walking distance and the taxi rank on our doorstep. The apartment is 10 minutes drive to the beaches of Fuengirola and La Calla, which boast lively night life and an abundance of restaurant's to cater for every taste. The area is a renowned mountain bike and road cycling must do and we consider the apartment a great base for the cycle set and golfers and families alike. Locally we have the matchroom country club, El Golf and hotel La Zambra for food and drinks but the apartment has a comprehensive booklet showing all local eateries we recommend etc. With a 15 minute drive from Malaga airport the apartment is quickly reached and we can if necessary organise transfers at a fee. With a recent refurbishment and addition of modern fittings such as 49" LCD and tasteful leather sofas we believe this to be a home from home for you to enjoy. Our kitchen is fully equipped for all your catering needs, having been a chef for some years I realize the need for everything at your fingertips and we always provide a little welcome pack of wine and a few nibbles to get you on your way to an enjoyable holiday.

The property lived up to our expectations, clean and comfortable. The main bathroom did not have shampoo or liquid soap filled up but my son brought some. The quality and freshness of towels were great. The pool was not crowded and it was well maintained.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the penthouse has been finished to a high standard, the terrace with the outside seating and dining area was great. Trish is an excellent host everything we needed was provided including a welcome pack.
We would definitely stay here again!
Trish and Neale’s apartment is lovely. The location is perfect for a relaxing holiday. The fixtures and fittings are top notch and very sumptuous. The balcony is great for sitting out, with the sun on it pretty much all day. It was like a home from home, only with sun! I will definitely be retuning.
The apartment was very beautiful with a lovely terrace and pool. Our host was very welcoming and kind! She responded immediately to questions and she genuinely cared that our time was enjoyable.
We had to use a car service to go anywhere - it was our experience that it was not a walkable location. However, our stay was great with the beautiful view and lovely apartment.
I’d give Trish and Neale 10 stars if I could!
This property is set in a gorgeous complex with stunning, extremely well kept gardens.
The pool is a lovely size and has ample areas around for multiple guests to enjoy the sunshine.
We took trish’s advice and hired a car, they have an exceptionally helpful manual in the apartment of things to do locally, as well as highly recommended things Trish mentioned to me in personal conversation as well. We took a day trip into Gibraltar and went on a boat trip out to see the dolphins - I have to say this was the highlight of our trip! If you book this make sure you use the company in the manual not the yellow boat (others on our boat had booked with them 3x and not seen any dolphins!)
I also highly recommend the Mijas water park which is right by the main fueringerola town, we took advantage of their second day offer for half price.
The area is nice and quiet making it a lovely get away with beautiful views! You’re also just over a 5 min drive from central fueringerola laden with shops, bars and gorgeous restaurants!
The apartment itself was cleaned to extremely high standards! We couldn’t fault it at all, the decor is absolutely stunning! We ate out a relative amount but when we did cook we found everything we needed in the apartment that we would find in our own kitchen at home.
I love the large table on the balcony, most apartments don’t cater outside chairs for the full party making eating outside together difficult but with 6 seats we had no problem at all!
The air con system cooled the apartment down quickly too and a huge thank you to Neale helping me with the settings late on our first evening!
The customer service has been second to none, with the covid 19 situation we were in contact regularly with Trish and she always replied very promptly and in a highly professional manner.
This apartment truly is a home from home and I can not recommend it highly enough! Trish and Neale have put together extensive directions from the airport, the manual of so many things to do locally, directions of the tv settings and more! A lot of effort goes into making sure this let is a perfect holiday home for each and everyone that stays and we would certainly not hesitate to book here again!

Si quieres tranquilidad y buena ubicación.
Íbamos con la idea de conocer los pueblos y ciudades colindantes y la ubicación me pareció perfecta..
Wir haben uns in der liebevoll gestalteten und super sauberen Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Kommunikation mit den Eigentümern war jederzeit hervorragend.
Wenn wir noch einmal in der Gegend Urlaub machen, gerne wieder dort! Allerdings benötigt man zwingend ein Auto, um überall hinzukommen.
Fantastisk värd med ordning och reda.
Härlig pool i området.
Många golfbannor i närområdet.
Det som drog ner ena betyget var att det inte fanns några matbutiker i nära bostaden så man får gå en bra bit eller ta bil/taxi.
I övrigt var allt toppen.
We have just returned after spending a totally relaxing 9 days at this superb apartment. The apartment is beautifully furnished, spacious and very well equipped with everything you could possibly want. The balcony overlooks the large swimming pool and gardens with views to Mijas and the mountains. It is ideally located within 10 minutes drive to Mijas, Fuengirola and Cala de Mijas. The support from Trish throughout the arrangements and stay were fantastic. A really great holiday.
From the moment we booked the apartment it was an absolute dream Trish could not have been more helpful with the booking process once we arrived at the apartment we were over the moon it is spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly want the apartment is an absolute gem so peaceful in fact we were quite happy to stay in as it was so beautiful sitting on the large terrace we were so impressed we have booked to go back in 4 weeks a true home from home I know this will be the only accommodation we will be booking in future Thank you so much Trish for all your help and allowing us into your beautiful apartment
Die Wohnung ist hübsch und soweit war bei unserem Aufenthalt alles auch sauber, bis auf ein paar Stellen in der Küche und auf dem Balkon. Alles Notwendige war vorhanden, bis auf die obligatorischen Haken für Jacken, Handtücher etc und die Ablagemöglichkeiten im Bad, die aber leider in fast allen Ferienwohnungen fehlen.
Weniger toll war die Suche nach unserem Apartment am ersten Abend. Es war bei unserer Ankunft schon dunkel und wir haben EINE Stunde nach der Wohnung gesucht. Ende Oktober ist dort nicht mehr allzu viel los und schließlich haben wir mit Hilfe einer Bewohnerin doch noch den Eingang zum Haus gefunden. Da wäre eine bessere Beschreibung bzw. zwei, drei Schilder mit Pfeilen zu den einzelnen Apartmenthäusern und Ein- bzw. Übergängen hilfreich gewesen.
Der Pool war ein Traum! Wir hatten Glück mit dem Wetter, es war noch recht warm und der Pool war ausreichend beheizt, so dass wir ihn noch toll nutzen konnten!
An einigen Abenden hatten wir über die Klimaanlage (die wir zum Heizen nutzten) einen ziemlich üblen kloakigen Geruch in der Wohnung, der nach einiger Zeit wieder besser wurde.
Wir hatten einen Mietwagen, den braucht man meiner Meinung nach auch, wenn man von der Gegend etwas sehen möchte. Die Tiefgarage konnten wir allerdings nicht wirklich nutzen, da die einzelnen Plätze durch Betonpfosten voneinander getrennt waren und das Einparken recht schwierig war. Aber das mag auch an meinen Fähigkeiten beim Einparken gelegen haben ;) . Mijas Pueblo ist schön, Marbella auf jeden Fall einen Ausflug wert. Wir haben uns dort ein Fahrrad an der Promenade gemietet und sind die sieben Kilometer in die Altstadt mit dem Rad gefahren, das war super! Der Restauranttipp vom Fahrradvermieter ebenfalls: das Venenzia, zwei Parallelstraßen hinter der Promenade, günstig und wirklich leckere Tapas - wer es ausprobiert möchte...
Ebenfalls ein toller Ausflugstipp: der caminito del rey, etwa eine Stunde in die Berge von Fuengirola aus. Wenn man schwindelfrei ist, wirklich sehenswert! Karten rechtzeitig übers Internet bestellen!
Alles in allem hatten wir einen tollen Aufenthalt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Wir wissen ja jetzt, wie wir die Wohnung finden. ;)
The photos do not do Trish’s apartment justice, it is far superior. The quality of furnishings, the thoughtful bits such as cool boxes etc was a huge bonus.
The only negative (& this reflects not at all on the property) is that a car is a MUST. The closest supermarket (Aldi) is 5 minutes in a car, but quite a trek with no pavements. Restaurants in Cala or Pueblo Mijas & beaches are a minimum of 15 minutes drive

Why they chose this property
Simply put this property is next door to our other penthouse so we thought it would cater for larger parties having both apartments. Also I feel that this apartment overlooking the pool is great for families and the views of the mountains in the evening are spectacular.
What makes this property unique
The apartment is extremely large in comparison to others. The underground parking is perfect for entering the apartment via the security gates giving you privacy and accessibility. The furnishings in this apartment are beautiful and all new for spring 2019. We have a dining set on the terrace which is 25m2 which myself and my family love as the views of the mountains at night are breath taking.
