Pleasant stay.

Accommodations were very basic. No essentials were provided, soap, shampoo, paper towels, tissues, salt, and pepper. It would be a big plus too have a couple more hooks and shelves in the bathroom to be able to place things. Another chair in the main living area would be helpful. Plan to bring everything with you. The gardens were beautiful and very relaxing. Overall worked for us.

Cottage was nice overall, but the bed was not a Kingsize as advertised and was super hard.

Cottage was nice overall, but the bed was not a Kingsize as advertised and was super hard. We are not small people and I always avoid accommodation that doesn't have a KS bed. We struggled for the 6 days we were there with both the size and firmness. The surroundings in the grounds of the main house are lovely. Pool was large and a nice cool temperature, but really needed cleaning/filtering daily due to the amount of dead insects floating on the surface, and therefore not great for actual swimming. Shower was the best I've had in a long time. Toilet had a proper flush too! Unfortunately M20/M25 road noise is annoying and hard to block out. Overall a nice 6 days away, aside from the bed being a standard double and far too hard. ~X~
