Lovely spacious house

We were at a wedding at the Tress House Alnwick - my family stayed here instead of a hotel for a few nights, plenty space for us all, really close to Alnwick water garden.

The house was of exceptional standard with good quality facilities, which had been kept up to date.

The house was of exceptional standard with good quality facilities, which had been kept up to date. Let down a little by those who had used it previously as the 3 piece suite had signs of pets being allowed to climb onto the settee and chairs with resultant tears in the cloth. We took a pet dog but also took its own bed which it used each day / night. We got two cars onto the drive only just, and the key in a lock box meant that we could all go off to different places knowing we could get back into the house. Very close to Alnwick Castle, but just too far to walk for those of us over 72 years. I would certainly use this facility again. A small point to note, the towel hoop and toilet paper holder in the down stairs facility were not secured to the wall - not a major thing a small grub screw is missing on both ? so when pulling a towel off the ring comes off as well. I could not understand why anybody would remove the grubscrews ? Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
