Spacious and stylish nestled in one of Northumberland’s most popular destinations, Amble By The Sea. Little Anchor Cottage has it all! Surrounded by golden sandy beaches, acres of natural beauty, and historic landscapes!. 1 step to entrance.

Situated a stone’s throw from the Amble harbour; known locally as ’the friendliest port’, this delightful abode provides deceptively spacious holiday accommodation which has been designed and finished to a high standard. This holiday retreat is tastefully furnished throughout and oozes charm with beautiful, homely touches. Put your feet up in the cosy living room and settle with a tipple in front of the wood burner whilst watching a good film on the Smart TV. The contemporary kitchen/ diner to the rear is particularly well appointed and a great social hub; and to the chefs delight all the necessary appliances on hand to rustle up some hearty dishes for the family to enjoy. Its bright and airy ambience is enhanced by a door which leads to a small yard, somewhere to sit and have your morning coffee. Retire upstairs to one of the three bedrooms. The master is a super king room, the second bedroom has a zip and link bed which can be used as two twins, or a king size tailored to your needs, and the third bedroom is a small double. Freshen up in the bathroom and take your pick from a relaxing bath or an invigorating shower. Parking for Little Anchor Cottage is on road straight outside of the property so very convenient!
Start you adventure from Amble; a delightful, friendly, seaside town which has a selection of pubs and restaurants for that fine dining experience, as well as several independent shops and supermarkets for picking up any last-minute essentials. The quayside in Amble has a Sunday weekly market and is home to the Harbour Village where small independent shopping pods sell a range of arts, crafts, accessories, food, and drink. Head to the RPSB reserve of Coquet Island to discover puffins, terns and eider ducks, and take a boat ride around the island to see it from a unique perspective, while wildlife lovers will also relish the chance to explore the Hauxley Wildlife Discovery Centre and birdwatching opportunities are prominent at Druridge Bay. 6 miles North brings you to the quaint town of Alnmouth, a popular coastal village known for its excellent 18-hole golf course and its charming cycle routes.
