Comfortable barn with everything you need to have a stay in the Yorkshire dales. Lovely walks nearby and stunning views. Nearby villages and small towns well worth a visit. The Barn owner Ann welcomed us with some Yorkshire cheese and biscuits. Thanks again.

We had a lovely time in this location.

We had a lovely time in this location. If you want to get away from it all then this a great place. The cottage is lovely and secluded and the owners left a lovely welcome gift for us. If we decide to come back to the location then we would return to the cottage. The only feedback is minimal in that there could be a little clearer info on arrival in terms of the fridge being turned off and where to place the bins externally as it wasn't clear. These are minimal as we worked it out. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

What a lovely location, the barn was a delight, nicely decorated and comfortable . The kitchen was well equipped. I scored only 8 for cleanliness the reason being the mugs needed a good wash , as did the cutlery drawer . We had trouble working the hob (our incompetence) the owner couldn't have been more helpful in rectifying the matter for us. Would I recommend Skellgill Barn ,definitely. Will I be back definitely. It is very quiet and secluded and IN the Dales so if that is what you are looking for then it's perfect. It's a barn conversion so not big and no WiFi. We loved it. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Beautiful location and well equipped. Everything we needed for a self catered, relaxing stay. The only thing that was disappointing was the cleanliness of the shower. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A lovely barn in a great quite location, our second holiday here.

A lovely barn in a great quite location, our second holiday here. I have scored the local amenities low as it is some way to any shops, but really this is not the place for people who need local amenities. There is the possibility of moving livestock around two farms before you get to the main road, but be patient with the farmers and they appreciate it, and hey it's part of the holiday.

This is a comfy, cosy barn in a gorgeous location by the beck, with the added interest of the farm.

This is a comfy, cosy barn in a gorgeous location by the beck, with the added interest of the farm. We enjoyed seeing the cows coming in for milking and the farm family are happy to answer your questions. Wonderful walks from the door. Askrigg itself is lovely and excellent pubs can be found there, just a 5 min drive away. I would definitely recommend this barn, very good value for money but just don’t expect frills. This is a simple and peaceful farm property.
