We had hoped for a very peaceful and relaxing break, surrounded by stunning scenery and that is exactly what we got! We walked for miles and were lucky enough to never get wet once. The Granary was quite remote but that suited us just fine and despite the comments by some previous guests about the lack off Wi-Fi, we had no problem whatsoever - internet all week!! The only things to mention are that there isn't enough hot water to fill the huge bath and that access to the decked area was external and via a dirty barn, meaning that a morning coffee wasn't really an option. That said, we will return, as the positives far outweighed any negatives. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Very comfortable cosy well equipped cottage.
Very comfortable cosy well equipped cottage. In a beautiful remote location, though Dumfries is only nine miles away. A wood burning stove would put icing on the cake. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
