Etwas in die Jahre gekommenen aber wunderschön
Tolle Lage, gute Ausstattung. Drei sehr gute Bäder, Küchenausstattung müsste erneuert werden (Pfannen, Backblech, defekte Kaffeemaschine). Perfekt für Wanderungen in der Umgebung.

Never again!
When you come from another country for most of us Canada and pay the price we did for this property these are the reasons why never again! 1. Belfast sink had large chip and crack 2. No salad box in fridge 3. All kitchen cupboard doors damaged and shabby 4. No outside bin or recycling facilities. 5. No access to balcony, rotting wood. 6. Some windows had coverings but many did not, not ideal for the bedrooms! 7. Cookware was very old and frying pan was unusable 8. Door frames were out of alignment such that it made opening or closing the front door very difficult. 9. Living room only had enough seats for 3 to 4 people to lounge comfortably. Challenging when we had 7 people renting. 10. When we arrived no oil for heating radiators 11. Dirty and lack of finishing everywhere 12. No extra towels, towels given were thin and ragged 13. Bedding poor quality and no extra 14. Beds very uncomfortable, all of them, especially downstairs 15. Stove top not working properly 16. Limited supplies - no hand soap, no outdoor washing line, only 2 outdoor chairs that we dirty as well as the outdoor table, no bath mats which made it slippery getting out of the shower/bath tub. 17. Upstairs hot water pressure none existent when downstairs water being used e.g. shower, dishwasher, washing machine 18. Small washing machine for max 8 people 19. Windows that would not open, or once open, would not close.

Fantastic location with access to Caledonian canal right outside the property.
Fantastic location with access to Caledonian canal right outside the property. The property facilities were good. Large spacious rooms with comfortable furniture, three showers, large fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwasher plus small kitchen appliances. Spean Bridge close by with local Spar for everyday items and Fort William 30 mins drive where several large supermarkets are. We found the base location ideal for trips out and there was more than enough to do and see with stunning views. Any questions or queries were quickly attended to by the owner who was more than willing to assist. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Overall a great experience.
Overall a great experience. However the web-site said the house would accommodate 8 persons. That is not so. The house sleeps six persons. Some work ought to be done: some of the windows presented problems (difficult or impossible to open or close, handle broken). The sanitary equipment is poor. Hardly any water in the showers (perhaps a more powerful pump would see to that). The beds were super comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped, the location great. The access road might be a little tricky in a sporty low-lying car.

Lovely property and location.
Lovely property and location. Property is looking a little tired and unloved. Water comes out brown and weren’t initially aware that we would have brought bottled water to drink. First day didn’t have any water upstairs. Fridge didn’t keep its temperature. There should have been a bag of wood for the fire but only empty bags were left (thankfully it was summer). BBQ hadn’t been cleaned out. No curtain/blind in a downstairs room. We informed the key holder but nothing was done. Lastly, the photos make it look like the log cabin is remote by the loch but there is a truck repair/haulage company directly behind the house and mobile homes alongside. All of which is compensated for by the beautiful highland location. We enjoyed the scenery, cycling, walks, swimming in and canoeing on the loch.
