There is plenty of fun for children of all ages. There are hours of fun to be had at the beach and in the sea. The coastline has lots of arcades and fun rides every day. If you enjoy walking, there are so many lovely local walks to enjoy and sights to be seen. Peasholm Park is beautiful and has lots to see and do from boating in the lake to walking around the magical gardens. The walk along the Marine Drive is enjoyed by locals and visitors alike. The castle is perched on the hillside overlooking the two bays. You can venture off on longer hikes that are detailed in the welcome pack to give you some ideas.
There is a rich history of entertainment in Scarborough to visit. The Stephen Joseph Theatre (home to most of Alan Ayckbourn’s world premieres) to The Spa the largest open-air theatre in Europe where famous bands play.
If you wanted to go out for the day and discover North Yorkshire Esplanade is only a 20-minute drive to Filey and a 40-minute drive to Whitby or Bridlington. If you wanted to travel a little further York is just over an hour but there are some beautiful sights to see in this historic town.
Whether you are staying at Esplanade with family and children, friends or pets there is something for everyone to enjoy both inside and out. Esplanade has been lovingly thought about so that guests are greeted with a warm and welcoming hug as they entre Esplanade for the first time.
