Lovely Dog Friendly Cottage in a Great Location
We stayed here for a week, there are so many places close by. Fort William, Oban, Ardnamurchan, Ben Nevis, Glenfinnan and Glencoe. The cottage is well equipped, the bed is really comfy. The dog loved the enclosed garden (there is a small stream at the bottom) and we loved watching the birds on the feeders from the kitchen.
Stayed 7 nights in Oct 2021

We absolutely loved our stay in Old Mill Cottage, especially the fact that it is pet friendly and we could bring our dog who loved all the walking and exploring the garden. The cottage is well kitted out and you need for nothing in terms of equipment and facilities. It isn't within walking distance of any shops or restaurants so we found it best to do a big grocery shop at the start of our stay. There are fantastic walking and cycling routes nearby and lots of more adventurous routes just a short car ride away. The owners have a guest folder with extensive information about the surrounding area and there are loads of guidebooks and maps to borrow in the cottage. Lovely old cottage and enclosed garden for dogs.
Lovely old cottage and enclosed garden for dogs..Heaters in all rooms and log burner and open fire in living room. Great WiFi connection means you can plug firestick/ dongle into TV as there is no freeview/sky television. Plenty books and DVD' s as well. Excellent value for money and plenty information and nice bottle of wine waiting for you. I would definitely go back and take my bike as the cycle path into Oban is right next to you. Wonderful cottage and ideal base to explore the area.
Wonderful cottage and ideal base to explore the area. The cottage is even prettier in real life than the photos & the garden is truly gorgeous with amazing views. The only reason we didn’t give all 10s is that it is on the main road going through the village so there is some traffic noise but this is a quiet area so it wasn’t much of an issue. Loved this cottage and would definitely go back & recommend to others. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
