The Boathouse offers an excellent base from which to explore the Moray Firth and Aberdeenshire, with the fishing towns and villages of Cullen, Portknockie and Banff within easy reach. Enjoy some excellent walks along the Moray Coastal Trail, to the neighbouring villages of Cullen and Portknockie, where the natural wave-cut arch, known as Bow Fiddle Rock, can be seen. Alternatively, take a boat trip from nearby Buckie and look out for dolphins, porpoises, whales and a large variety of seabirds.
