Lawned garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture (shared with owner). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: No children under 5 years old.. This ideally located holiday property, adjacent to the owners’ home, is situated within easy walking distance of the centre of Betws-y-Coed and all its amenities. Originally the village smithy, it is divided into two holiday properties, with the larger, Smithy House, being on the ground and first floors. This quiet location provides a fantastic place to relax from the hustle and bustle of the village. There are walks from the door up into the Gwydir Forest and around Llyn Elsi Lake, or a riverside walk past the golf course and the 14th-century St Michael’s Church. There are plenty of places for eating out just a short stroll away or indulge in some local culture by hearing a Welsh choir sing in the church. If you need a shot of adrenaline, try the family-friendly treetop nets and Fforest Coaster (a UK first) at Zip World Fforest or visit Surf Snowdonia, the world’s first inland surfing lake. Beach 20 miles. Shop ¼ mile, pub and restaurant 300 yards.
Smithy House can be booked together with Smithy Cottage (CC612078) to accommodate up to six guests.
