This quiet location provides a fantastic place to relax from the hustle and bustle of the village. There are walks from the door up into the Gwydir Forest and around Llyn Elsi Lake, or a riverside walk past the golf course and the 14th-century St Michael’s Church. There are plenty of places for eating out just a short stroll away or indulge in some local culture by hearing a Welsh choir sing in the church. If you need a shot of adrenaline, try the family-friendly treetop nets and Fforest Coaster (a UK first) at Zip World Fforest or visit Surf Snowdonia, the world’s first inland surfing lake.
