Fir Tree Cottage is perfect for a romantic break away, set in the magnificent Northumberland National Park.. Ground Floor:

Kitchen area: Electric Oven, Gas Hob, Fridge/Freezer, Fridge, Dishwasher
Bedroom: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, gas, bed linen and towels included. Small enclosed garden with garden furniture. Grounds (shared with other properties on-site). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: No children. The properties have a natural water supply from a borehole. There is an unfenced stream in the grounds, 50 yards.. Set in the heart of Northumberland and only a few miles from the Scottish Borders, these holiday homes are all different. The two bijoux style semi-detached holiday cottages (Stable Cottage, ref UKC645 and Fir Tree Cottage, ref UKC646) offer a cosy and welcoming base. Ideal for exploring this beautiful and unspoilt region, or star gazing on a clear evening, as the area has been awarded a Gold Tier international award for the largest Dark Sky Park in Europe.
Set on the edge of the Kielder Forest, the private site has stunning walks from the door and welcomes you and your pets, making this an ideal location for couples wishing to make the most of the outdoor activities. A perfect base to explore the Northumberland National Park, Kielder Water, forest and observatory which must be booked directly in advance.
Otterburn is 9 miles with a beautiful Pub Le Petite Château, a mill shop and general dealers. Bellingham and Jedburgh are around 18 miles away and offer amenities to suit everyone. A day trip to Alnwick with its famous castle and water gardens, and the Northumberland Heritage Coast, peppered with castles and beaches, makes a fine day out. Hadrians Wall is is steeped in history with Roman forts and museums along the way. A great location for those looking to explore this friendly and unspoilt county. Shop 9 miles, pub and restaurant 4 miles.
