Port Erin is a stunning coastal village on the south western tip of the Isle of Man with a beautiful sheltered sandy beach which plays host to spectacular sunsets all year round. Port Erin is a walkers paradise, offering a range of fantastic walking trails, mainly around the coastline, with stunning views out to sea. Other superb activities on offer in the village include the sailing activities centre, the bicycle hire shop, golf club and tennis courts.

Port Erin offers a superb range of cafes, restaurants and pubs as well as a couple of supermarkets and a mini high street. Don’t forget to step back in time with a trip on the Isle of Man Steam Railway which runs from Port Erin to Douglas with various stops en route.

A further unmissable treat within easy reach of Port Erin is the spectacular Sound Cafe and Calf of Man Visitors’ Centre (also known as the Land’s End of Man). Also, a visit to nearby Castletown is a must for all lovers of medieval history who will be spellbound by the fantastically preserved medieval Castle Rushen. Another piece of delightful history is on offer nearby at the Cregneash Folk Museum, a wonderful tiny hamlet of thatched cottages by the sea. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

This is a nice house in a beautiful location, everything is clean and tidy.

This is a nice house in a beautiful location, everything is clean and tidy. The lounge furniture badly needs updating and is a little uncomfortable, we spent a lot of time in there due to the poor weather. The kitchen is well reasonably well equipped. The bedrooms are large and spacious with comfortable beds and the bathrooms are modern and both have nice showers. All in all we would happily stay again and would recommend.
