I try to take time to write the good and bad about places I stay. This was the worst, by far. I'll start with the positive: Debbie, Maintenance staff and Housekeeping staff were very nice. Now, there's not enough space...1. After checking in at the "main" location and carrying our luggage through town, on foot, to get to our condo...we were told, "sorry, we just found out there is demolition going on in our condo next door and above you!" NOISE for days! (They gave me a reduction in price for my inconvenience) 2. No air conditioning...not kidding...89 degrees outside. So, we kept the windows opened and were given fans to use. 3. Guess what? The outside BAR/restaurant is just under all of our windows! We got to smoke everyone's cigarettes, and none of the 8 of us smoke! So we had to close the windows that were cooling us off. 3. We were told the demolition would only cause noise. Went to get into shower and the ceiling was falling in, onto my head. And, you could see into the top floor. Their fix: "sending housekeeping to clean the shower." 4. The day of checkout, we loaded up the luggage cart to wheel through the streets to the main building again. We went to the elevator (on 2nd floor) and it was not working. Called front desk, "yes, the elevator is out but it will be fixed in a few days." They sent the Housekeeper to help us take luggage off cart, carry the heavy cart downstairs and reload cart to push through town. We insisted on a maintenance person to help...and he was very helpful. 5. Don't let the pics fool you. The only thing newer than 1970 is the master bedroom covers. Everything was so worn and very poorly decorated. The refrigerator, at the lowest temp, barely kept water cool and all of our meat spoiled in the first day. Bottom line...I spent several days trying to find a nice place to stay with my family and booked several months in advance, only to have to settle for this dump. Unless you read somewhere that their rooms have been renovated, don't wast your money on this place.
