The Pataseca caves are located in Gorafe, a small troglodyte town, with the highest concentration of dolmens in the peninsula.
The caves, being excavated in clay, maintain a constant temperature between 18º-22º all year round, isolated from external noise and without light pollution.
We have not wanted to alter its ancient origin of “hand chopped”, now in disuse, maintaining its original architecture.
They are fully equipped.
For archeology fans, Gorafe has a Megalithic Interpretation Center and several routes with more than 200 dolmens.
A desert similar to "Colorado."
At 7 Kms. You can relax in the spa of Alicún.
Granada is only an hour away by road, so you can pay a visit to the Alhambra or go skiing to the Sierra Nevada.

Ich habe das Objekt über längere Zeit im Hochsommer gemietet. Wirklich ideal für hohe Temperaturen. Man kann auch in der Nacht hervorragend schlafen. Alles war perfekt, die Wohnung sauber und gut ausgestattet. Alles Notwendige war vorhanden, einschließlich Waschmaschine im Nebengebäude. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das einzige Manko: Die Cueva liegt an einem Berghang und es ist manchmal mühsam Einkäufe hochzutragen, da das Auto nur unten geparkt werden kann. Tägliches Fitnesstraining!!! He alquilado el objeto durante mucho tiempo en pleno verano. Realmente ideal para las altas temperaturas. También puedes dormir muy bien por la noche. Todo estaba perfecto, el apartamento limpio y bien equipado. Todo lo necesario estaba allí, incluyendo una lavadora en el edificio anexo. Los propietarios son muy amables y serviciales. El único inconveniente: La Cueva está situada en la ladera de una montaña y a veces es difícil llevar las compras arriba, porque el coche sólo puede aparcar en la planta baja. ¡¡Entrenamiento físico diario!!

Un havre de paix inoubliable

Nous avons passé une semaine à nous régaler ans cette cuéva rénovée en toute simplicité avec gout. Engra nous a réservé un accueil très chaleureux et a tout fait pour nous informer des sites à visiter, elle parle bien le français et on s'est senti très à l'aise. Ignacio son mari à rénové ses cuévas avec amour, avec des idées originales en incluant dans les murs des objets anciens pour leur redonner une nouvelle vie avec le le souci du détail, murets de pierre et végétation sur la toiture pour retenir la terre par exemple. C'est aussi un artisan de génie , fabricant des poteries et des petits objets en vannerie . Rarement nous avons rencontré au cours de nos voyages autour du monde une famille aussi précieuse et si authentique avec qui nous avons discuté avec autant de plaisir. Amoureux de la nature préservée, de paléontologie, de botanique, d'astronomie, faites un séjour à Gorafé vous aurez des surprises.

Un remanso de paz en un lugar increíblemente bonito

Ya habíamos dormido en alojamientos en cueva, pero las del Pataseca son cuevas genuinas, los dueños son un encanto, siempre disponibles, tuvimos un problema menor con la puerta y en menos de un suspiro estaban en la casa arreglándolo. El entorno es super bonito, tranquilo, nadie debería perderse el Centro de Interpretación del Megalitismo de Gorafe, porque vale la pena hacerse una idea de primera mano de lo que se va a visitar. Pero todo el entorno Dólmenes incluidos es valioso y hermosísimo. Tenemos claro que vamos a volver en cuanto nos sea posible. Ah y el silencio para dormir insuperable. Eso sí lo que no puede pretender uno es ir a una casa cueva y estar en una ciudad con wifi y cobertura móvil, el que va a una casa cueva es para buscar paz de verdad, sin ajetreos urbanos ni exceso de comunicación más allá de hablar con los dueños, vecinos... Y el perro disfrutó como un enano del entorno. Ver el amanecer y el atardecer en Gorafe no tiene precio.

Fue muy acogedora nuestra estancia

Fui con mi familia, mis dos hijas, mi yerno y nuestros dos perros, pasamos unos días en la Navidad de 2011, y fue muy agradable, la casa/cueva muy confortable. Estuvimos muy a gust0. Hicimos senderos, visitamos los dolmenes, los baños, el pueblo. y los dueños muy agradables, nos facilitaron información de la zona. Nos gusto.

Simplemente estupendo todo

Es un lugar ideal para estar tranquilo, viaje con mis hijos y se lo pasaron genial ya que tiene varias rutas para hacer senderismo y poder ver los dolmenes de los alrededores. El pueblo es pequeñito pero sus gentes son muy amables y simpáticas, al igual que los propietarios de la cueva, son encantadores. La verdad es que no puedo decir nada malo, fuimos en Semana Santa y estamos pensando en volver en verano.
