Nice but could be better

Generally the property was ok. There were all the amenities advertised and items for the first few days to make the stay easier. Some improvements that can be made are however... 1. I had to email to find out how to get into the property. although instructions were provided to get to the resort and to the property itself, instructions of how to enter the home itself were not provided before hand. Property manager should have sent that just prior to arrival. 2. There were only 2 resort bands hanging on the wall when we arrived (there are supposed to be 6 according to the instructions). Noting that there is a charge for missing bands, and you can't enter the resort facilities without them, the property manager should have advised that the previous renter had taken them and that they would be replaced quickly so as to not impact our stay. Although I emailed and got immediate feedback from the property manager, this could have been managed better. 3. Upon entering the property, it was very noticeable that the air conditioner air filter had not been replaced in a while as there was dirt and dust showing thru the vent of the A/C closest. In Summer time, this needs to be changed once a month or is a health hazard. 4. The oven was not clean. 5. Water was not draining very fast in the upstairs bathroom sink. Something very obvious if the cleaners had cleaned the bathroom prior to our arrival. 6. The check in notes indicated there was a safety deposit box but we could not find one. Those notes should be revised For future. Generally however, the apartment and resort were nice and was a pleasant stay and good value for money. There were towels and even a pack and play at the property. Cable TV and internet were good. There were platse, cups, glasses, pots and pans to make food as necessary, coffee machine even some coffee, salt , pepper, shampoo, conditioner, soap, sponges and few items like that to use. in summary, the cleanliness of the place and management of the bookings just needs a little bit of improvement and this will be a great property.

Nice resort. Great for families. But this particular unit needs proper kitchen pans etc and broom and mop. It was not cleaned well and the floor was filthy. Each night we all washed our feet in the tub to go to sleep. The unit is dated and worn compared to the pictures. The beds were clean and comfortable. We de t our concerns to the host hopefully it will be better for next guests

Disappointed

I recently stayed at this apartment and was extremely disappointed. At first glance, the place looked okay, but that quickly changed once my kids took off their shoes and started walking around barefoot — their feet were immediately covered in dirt. I was absolutely disgusted. I had to sweep the floors myself because they were clearly not cleaned properly.The shower also needs serious updating. The shower head was full of limescale, making it unpleasant to use. There were only two big towels provided for our whole family, and the sheets didn’t even look clean.I called the number listed to ask for extra towels, but no one ever came. Gabriela, who communicated with us through messages, was quick to respond and seemed nice at first. However, after reading through other reviews, it’s clear that she’s aware of these issues and just doesn’t care, which is very sad.If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Stay somewhere else — this place is not worth it.

Disappointing

Fantast world resort was awesome but the host not responsive and the condo was not clean or safe. The back patio door wouldnt lock. Our host said someone would be out to fix it asap. No one ever came. I specifically messaged her about a pack n play a month before our stay. It was not there on arrival. Her emergency contact finally brought one around 830pm. She responded at 2am. The actual condo looked run down. It was functional but I dont think it will ever be clean. Our feet were black if we walked around barefoot. Upon check out, the host is claiming we took 3 towels. All towels were left in the condo. I wouldnt recommend staying at this condo but enjoyed the reaort itself.

Unfortunate

Stayed 4 nights. Convenient location to all the main things. However, when we entered the home, it was musty and damp feeling. What appears to be mold in the crease of the walls and ceiling. Vents are covered in dust. Light bulbs out in bathroom, possibly other rooms. Only 3 bath towels, accommodations state up to 6 people. No pool towels, like the whole complex offered to the other patrons. Never had to share a shower towel before in any house, condo, apt, or hotel. Had to buy toilet paper and garbage bags. Refrigerator does not have an ice maker (FYI). Floors are extremely dirty. Cannot walk around without shoes on, feet will be black with sand and hair on them. Sliding glass door to patio doesn’t lock. Patio chairs are horribly dirty with someone’s old socks on the ground. Walls have food or drink slung down them on both floors. Tried to stay out of the condo as much as possible due to the conditions. Owner is very responsive for immediate questions/needs. However, not sure she is local to see what she is renting to the public. P.S. a picture of a naked woman on the wall in the dining/living room. The pool rules are no floats, no jumping in the pool, and no outside drink (FYI).

Even better than expected!

I was a little unsure about this booking based on some less than perfect reviews but we had a wonderful experience. Gabriela was informative and responsive and so pleasant to work with. The whole unit must have been upgraded from the photos because it was beautiful and much nicer than pictured. The resort was great for the kids. We had planned to do so much more but ended up staying at the resort most days because the kids had a blast. The pool bar had great drinks and most of what we needed coild be acquired close by. My only recommendation would be potentially offering a keurig in the unit rather than a standard coffee pot more because im a coffee drinker and it would be more convenient and maybe comfier pillows that were a little firmer but thats just a comfort preference. Really this was everything we needed and we will definitely be booking agajn several times a year for quick long weekend getaways from the cold new york weather.

The resort was fun, communication was great. Check-in was super easy. Kids had a blast. This is an older unit and it showed it's age. Dishes weren't clean but owner offered to send someone to clean if we wanted.

The place had issues with the AC no cold air, the room has a leak coming through the ceiling and it makes paddles in the living room.. the bed sheets and pillows cases n comforts were with sweat stains and dirty towels…unprofessional behavior it’s all I could say they could a lot better with there service

Nice and lovely apartment

We stayed there for 3 nights with 2 small kids and one infant. Everything was arranged nicely and we felt very comfortable. There is a olive garden near by and the pool area was nice for our kids. The hot tubs were great.

Disgusting, Horrible Place - Not as Pictured

Cliff Notes: Just avoid staying here. It was covered in mold, run down, different than the pictures, and disgusting. FULL Review: The condition of the property was far below expectations. The shower head was not just dirty, it was completely filthy and in desperate need of replacement. There was visible mold on both the bathroom ceiling and the shower handle. The handle itself was improperly installed—turning it to cold produced warm water, and vice versa. It was also evident that the vents hadn't been cleaned in a very long time, which added to the overall sense of neglect. Throughout the property, we encountered several cleanliness issues. The stairs were covered in dust and debris, clearly in need of a thorough vacuuming. The curtains, which hadn’t been washed in what seemed like ages, were stained and dingy. Even the bedsheets had noticeable stains, and there was grime on the walls throughout the space. The patio, missing several decor items, also had different furniture than what was advertised. To make matters worse, the remote control was missing plates. On top of that, none of the TV remotes worked. The closet doors were covered in filth, and the cabinet in the kitchen+bathroom were visibly falling apart due to water damage. The cherry on top was AFTER images and a complaint were sent to the manager, they haven't responded. Management also decided to put gory decor ALL over the property and my infant was terrified. The decor was also in the kid area.

I didn’t stay. Refund was requested The place was not up to par. The pictures posted are not the accurate depiction of the stay. The place was hot and smelled of mold. There was stains on the couch and the bar stools. The kitchen table chairs had mold all on the seats. I do not recommend anyone to stay here until the host remodels and clean this place up a bit.

Nothing but SMILES!

This hidden gem is simply amazing! I had an entire agenda planned for my daughter birthday even “volcano bay” and my three children literally put their suits on and was at the pool non-stop (from the time we checked in til close every night ). Waterslides were so fun, lazy river was relaxing, and not to mention all the activities the resort has to offer inside. With all that, they didn’t want to go to volcano bay, which was shocking to me. The host was amazing, very responsive, and helpful. I plan on defining back in the future!

Great Location

The property is in a great location and the amenities are excellent. The staff that works the activities center and front desk were very friendly and helpful. The unit itself needs to be updated, the furniture has been well loved and is missing knobs, most of the mini blinds are broken. The bed in the master is very very old if you have any back issues you will not sleep well. We had to buy wash rags there are none provided. I also recommend buying aluminum pans if you plan on cooking. There is one pot, one small skillet (Teflon is falling off) a large pizza pan and a 9x13. Cooking is possible but you may have to get creative. The floors were dirty unless you wear shoes the whole time your feet will be filthy. There were cigarettes on the patio from previous guests. We do not smoke and found it kinda gross. There isn’t a mop or any cleaners available in the unit other than a small bottle of dish liquid and two dishwasher tabs. Overall a good experience, aside from uncomfortable bed and cleanliness of the home. I would stay again but would probably book with the property itself.
