Cozy studio on the ground floor of our home. Ideal for couples TRAVELLING LIGHT or the curious traveler on a last minute trip to San Juan, who's in the know of what Calle Loiza has to offer and wants to cool off @ Ocean Park Beach. Convenient access to PR-26 for those determined to explore the Island. The apartment has 2 rooms, one serves as bedroom with a small closet and a separate room that serves as entry, and kitchenette with a small dining area and table for two (2).

Eduardo was such a great host in allowing me to check in early, answer any questions, and provide recommendations for restaurants in the area. The wifi was perfect, since I had to work during my stay! The studio is just as the picture shows - small, but it provides the necessary amenities. The bathroom is a bit tight, but overall no real issues. If you're a light sleeper, the frogs are pretty loud at night. The location is about a 15 min walk to the beach and a 5 min walk to Loiza street, which has many bars and restaurants. Since I was traveling solo, I didn't walk in the neighborhood at night, but during the day I felt totally safe to do so. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a place to chill after a long day of sightseeing.

Indeed, the bathroom as well as the unit itself are small, but are yet suitable for solo travelers or for couples that need a place to crash after exploring the island. We have another unit in the property that is much larger with a separate living/dining room. Thanks!

Great stay in San Juan

We loved our stay in our comfortable studio apartment in San Juan. The neighborhood was clean, quiet and close to everything that we needed including access to routes away from San Juan. Our hosts were warm and hospitable and offered restaurant and beach tips that proved to be excellent. Our only negative experience was parking which was a challenge wherever we went. Fortunately, our location in the neighborhood had a good supply of on street slots generally available. We'd definitely stay here again.

Dont waste your money. The host does not want to invest in upgrades

Here is the communication i sent to the host. He has yet to reply "My wife and I were very upset with the conditions of your studio. Although you did change the old mattress and the faulty fridge you did not change the old dirty base of the bed. Then we noticed you locked the bins that had linens. We wanted to change the linens after a few days and especially when we saw the mold stains on the bed protector. My wife said the linens did not smell clean. Certain areas on the tables and lamps had dust. The seats to the dining table were not secured. They kept sliding off of the chairs. Making it a hazard to sit properly. As you noticed we kept that studio clean and didn't make any noise. The wifi was not working until you gave us the correct codes a few days later. One morning around 1 am someone shined a light into the window. The outside lights would not turn on a few times making it dangerous to walk. We are asking if you would give us a partial refund of the rental. Thanx, xiomara and William Arce" I would not recommend this place.
