Цахкадзор буквально «ущелье цветов»— популярный горнолыжный курорт в Армении в регионе Котайк. Он расположен на восточном склоне горы Тегенис, на высоте 1840м от уровня моря. Кстати, это всего на 10м ниже самой высокой из 4 лыжных станций знаменитого Куршавеля. И всего в 60км, или в 40 минутах езды от столицы Армении - Еревана.
Автотрасса, ведущая из международного аэропорта Звартноц в Цахкадзор (75км), находится в отличном состоянии. К северу и к югу от Цахкадзора простираются пологие горные гряды, покрытые лесом. С запада на восток город пересекает одноименная река, впадающая в приток Раздана - реку Мармарик.
Цахкадзор - это рай для горнолыжников, которые приезжают сюда специально, чтобы испытать драйв, спустившись по великолепным горным склонам.
