Cozy Detached Guest Cottage on Mill Pond

This lovely detached guest cottage features a queen-sized bed, couch, kitchen, and full bathroom with a tub/shower combination. It is part of a larger tree covered two acre property with 254 feet of frontage on Mill Pond. Although called a "pond", Mill Pond has a six-foot tide twice-a-day from the ocean. Guests are welcome to use the fire pit and patio by Mill Pond. The unit sleeps 2 adults in the Queen-Sized bed. It also has a pack and play that guests with a small child can use free of charge. One covered parking space is included. The unit has heat, air conditioner, wireless internet and a TV with DVD and Netflix/Amazon Prime.

Wish we could have spent more time on the property, but too many things to get to! The setting is beautiful and well manicured. Would love to do this again, but maybe next time spend a day just relaxing and enjoying the property.

The property, location, and hosts were absolutely perfect for a relaxing two week vacation. The area is great to experience a mid coast Maine adventure. The size of the unit/cabin was just right for us. While the hosts did respect our privacy, they also made sure that our needs were met. A very personable couple. If our plans for next year are similar, we would not hesitate to come here again.

The property is situated on the water of a title Mill Pond and very close to Boothbay Harbor. It's very peaceful, clean and the property managers were extremely accommodating. They even had the kindling in the fire pit ready to go. It was a little bit windy so I didn't want to take a chance I wish I had more time to spend there.

The cottage is small but well laid out for two people. Parking is covered, which is great any time of the year.The cottage is on a dead end street so it's very quiet. There are French doors that open to a spacious backyard with a hammock and a sitting area with a fire pit near the tidal pond.The galley kitchen is right at the entrance and runs down the side of the house. It has all the essential tools and pans, though a saucepan would be a great addition. I made do with what was there and I cooked for myself most nights.Bring your favorite Keurig pods and any spices and oils if you plan on cooking. There's a supermarket a couple of miles away that you're likely to pass often. If you want lobsters or any fresh seafood to cook, Google is your friend. You're sure to find a harborside fishmonger that will have what you want.

Absolutely loved this cozy cottage! love the warmth and charm of this cottage, the view of Mill Pond is so tranquil, the property itself is pretty, lined up with big beautiful old trees, a 2 person swing, and a cozy firepit all done in such good taste. Everything we needed was there and the bed is comfortable, loved the decor and the cleanliness.

This was a wonderful place to stay. The accommodations were perfect for the two of us. The cottage is tucked away but still it was easy to get to the harbor or different places to visit. Our hosts, Celeste and Tom were very inviting and helped with things to do and see. I’d love to come back one day.

Wonderful getaway

This is a wonderful place to stay! The views over the pond are lovely, and the inside is furnished comfortably. It’s peaceful and away from the more touristy areas, but easy to drive to town, the beach, and hiking nearby.

We loved this cottage, the immediate surroundings, and the overall location. The cottage was spotless, well furnished, tranquil and relaxing with lovely nearby walks, and convenient for driving into Boothbay Harbor and to other sites we wanted to visit. We didn't want to leave and are already thinking about when we could return!

Peaceful and charming

The house and property were very well kept, clean and orderly. Peace and quiet are the most important factors to us. The hosts were available and helpful and also respected our privacy. We will definitely stay here again.

This cottage had a comfortable firm bed and a very good shower. The inside was plenty roomy and the kitchen had all that we needed. The heater worked well. The yard is beautiful, especially looking over Mill Pond. We hope to return again someday.

Lovely place to enjoy Boothbay

Exactly as advertised. Very nice view to Mill Pond. Close access to Boothbay Harbor and Ocean Point. Quiet, clean, relaxing place to stay to enjoy all the delights of mid coast Maine.

Beautiful and peaceful spot

The little cottage was perfect us for, lovely and well equipped. Sitting by picturesque mill pond in the Adirondack chairs provided was so peaceful. Walks along the road to the public put in and other coastal areas along Linekin Bay was splendid! Wonderful spot in great location!
