Our community includes the Grand Baymen Garden condominium development, the San Pedro Club athletic facility, large sparkling pool, 2 tennis courts, and Drifters outdoor bar/restaurant. Grand Baymen is set in a lush garden setting, 2 full blocks from the Exotic Caye Beach Resort. Whether you visit us, or become part of our community, you have both beach access and access to ALL our amenities. We are located just a few minutes walk or golf cart ride to San Pedro Town Center.

Not as advertised. No swim up bar. No restaurant. No hot tub. Only two pools functional. Kitchenette had nothing to cook with so it was useless getting the upgrade. Locked out of room for 1.5 hrs had to sleep on ground in hallway. Bed broke/exploded second day and I smashed my head off wall. Pull out was total junk bent up no padding, holes in pillows. Water not safe to drink or brush teeth with. That’s not mentioned in add. Gym not private, very busy, rented out to locals. Hard to get on equipment. Closed at 7 pm. The staff was friendly, that is the only positive thing I have to say about this place. Do not recommend. There’s way better options for the price.

Grand Baymen, San Pedro Belize

I enjoyed my stay at the Grand Baymen/Best Western on San Pedro. My flight arrived late and a staff member stayed late to greet me a take me to my room. The room was clean and kitchen stocked. AC in both the living and bedroom. Pool was nice and clean. Drifters, the restaurant and bar at the pool was excellent. The food at Drifters was absolutely delicious. Even if you don’t stay at this hotel/condominium, go try the food and drinks at Drifters.

Very friendly and helpful staff

Very clean and enjoyable stay. It took a day to get used to the airport nearby. The bed was comfortable but squeaky. Restaurant and bar was great and friendly. Pool was very nice

A lovely hidden gem in an island of lovely, friendly people.

The friendly people at this VRBO Best Western Grand Baymen were incredible. They were helpful, kind, and very accommodating. The pool area is a beautiful area with a wonderful restaurant located just steps away. The family that runs the restaurant/bar area have a wonderful menu with amaxing food. If it’s not on the menu, ask, and they can possibly whip it up for you. A great place to meet new friends or to hang with family. I definitely recommend this VRBO.

It is only when you feel safe within a new or different culture that you truly relax and explore. This usually takes much less time than you might guess for visitors to Ambergris Caye.
Especially at Grand Baymen, the safest community on Ambergris Caye, visitors and residents are able to soak up the sun and enjoy the tropical paradise. Just what makes this unique and vibrant community so safe?
For one, the condos at Baymen Gardens are extremely secure. Built of extra-thick solid concrete, the walls are made to withstand hurricanes. The windows are category 5 double-paned hurricane windows with double locks. Solid mahogany doors with deadbolts and true jambs keep your unit safe and secure.

Grounds security is also a major priority for Grand Baymen. Bordered on one side by the eight-foot tall, barbed wire fence of the local airport, Grand Baymen is only accessible via lighted roads from the beach side of coconut drive.

Each unit is a one bedroom, one bathroom fully furnished condo with air-conditioning in the bedroom and living room, appliances, and fully equipped kitchen. Onsite maintenance and nightly security guards. Housekeeping can be arranged for an additional fee.
