To the exterior is your own private garden with patio and lawn, and there is ample off-road parking. Swallows Nest invites you to enjoy a quality break exploring the Lake District.

Armathwaite Castle is a four-storey Pele Tower, and the 15th century church has stained glass windows. The Eden Gorge, between Lazonby and Armathwaite is worth exploring. The railway station is a stop on the Settle-to-Carlisle Railway, a beautiful journey.
