very noisy

The chalet is clean, modern and well equipped. However it is located less than 50 meters from the main road of the area (Departemantale), the traffic is very heavy from early in the morning until late at night and the noise level accordingly high. The double glazing only partially dampens the noise and it is not possible to use the terrace or the small front garden except if you fancy the soundtrack of motorway service areas. When we complained to the real estate agency (Declic Immobilier) that the ad was misleading, they laught at us and told us that they can't write on the ad that the property is close from a main road. Well it is. We booked the chalet for one week but left after two days and we are still waiting for the commercial gesture the real estate agency promised.
