The 1903 Victorian is a charmer!
Quiet neighborhood in the original town site of Glenwood Springs.
I've been a property manager in Aspen for 25 years also had a 1
1 very large king bed in large master. 1 double bed in guest room filled with antiques. 1 twin bed in basement. a very comfortable couch with cotton sheets and down comforter you'll find in linen closet off bathroom. There are doors that seperate living room from the rest of the house.
I've had this as a vacation rental for 10 years now and it has been nothing but a beautiful positive experience for guests and myself as host.
Environmentally friendly home!
Large 3 lot well fenced property. Dogs and cats allowed with a couple rules. Feel free to inquire about your pets stay.
There a Carriage House in the back of the 3 lot property where I'm staying the summer of 2025. I have a cat and a dog. My dog is in the Carriage House fenced off area. Kitty wonders around the property. Likes to take naps on the deck.
Parking for house is in front of white picket fence.

The house is old but it’s fun to look at all of the antiques and things the owner has around the house. The location was great and we could walk to the downtown area.
We really enjoyed this property with our family. It is so cute and full of love and light ❤️ our host was so welcoming and kind and we will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Crisp, quiet, and friendly setting in a comfortable neighborhood for morning walks. Shops, restaurants, local ice cream and cafes within walking distance.
Very clean and exactly as described. Loved the walkability to restaurants and shops. The owner responded immediately to my call. Would definitely return.
This is an old house and it's very charming. Lots of quirky decorations and it's fun! Everything works well although I couldn't find a toaster but there is a toaster oven. There is a lot of room and it's close to everything! It's a quiet neighborhood and very quaint! Thank you Annie!! We had a great time!
Good location. Easy walk. Cute authentic house. Upstairs beds comfortable. Kitchen and dining room nicely worked for our meals and game nights. Cool and unique art. WiFi works well. Small suggestion to type notes for easier reading.
Annie was wonderful with communication! The house is only one block from the main street Grand Avenue. Very comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Didn’t use the other beds, so can’t speak for those. House was very clean and had everything we needed.

Quaint and spacious but needs a declutter and some investment
This came across as more a of a family second home than a rental. Clean but needs new bedding in all of the bedrooms and the antique bed and mattress in the master bedroom is just too small to be entirely comfortable and need replacing.

The house is a 1903 Vicoriesn and agree well loved in. 1st time in over 100 groups someone complained about cleanliness. I'm fine with that. Shower curtain is soaking in bleach as I write this do it weekly.
This is a pretty 100 year old property that is perfectly located on a very quiet street in Glenwood. The patio was great and we spent a lot of time there grilling or just sitting and admiring the surrounding mountains. Annie was a great host (lived next door) who gave us lots of tips about the area. The house was well situated but it is a 100 year old house and it carries with it the issues on those years. Some of the floors had cants that might make things difficult for older folks or those with balance issues. Overall, we liked the house, we loved the area and appreciated all the help that Annie gave us.

Disappointed
We have stayed in many VRBO's. This was very disappointing. It is old and historic. I get that. But the air conditioner was not working, no screen doors on the doors to open & let the Colorado cool evenings & mornings breeze come in. The refrigerator door does not close securely, the kitchen table that you eat on is wobbly (she said its old)? and if you want to have a cup of coffee & a piece of toast at the same time you can't. It will trigger the breaker; The breaker is in the bedroom (uncovered). I guess for easy access. She said it only happens a couple times a year. I happened the first two days we were there.
We had to do work arounds. Then when I tried to talk to her Ann, the owner, she told me I was a complainer! Really?

Look at past reviews everyone is happy right up to the recent ones. AC was working perfect Kelly turned it down so low 2 to 3 inches of ice was on condenser outside. Everyone else makes coffee and breakfast all meals without any issues. I had a professional cook visit guests for 2 weeks no issue cooking. Promise that breaker trips about twice a year. It is covered by a picture. I had to pay my housekeeper to come over 1st day to show Kellie how to use lights that Kellie said weren't working. The frig door woks fine. A light switch pull was broke in a bedroom and had to call handyman to fix after Kellie left. Also HVAC guy had to come to tell me the guests froze they system up by turning it down so low.. Housekeeper had to make another special tip over after Kellie left to turn the system back on after the ice melted. with took a full day. All the problems Kellie's visit caused cost a lot of money to fix. Do not have screens on doors for a reason. Too many people run ac and leave doors open then. There are screens in every room on the windows and fans too. 1 out of a hundred at the most is not a good fit for the house. Unfortunately for Kellie and I that was the case. It happens. And sorry it was such an odd fit for Kellie.
It is beautiful, so much fun. Walking distance to great food & activities. Glenwood Springs is a wonderful destination and this home is so warm and comfortable. We visited with my two teen grandsons and loved every minute. Highly recommend this home.

Annie is wonderful, kind and welcoming. The house is so charming and the eclectic decor is a treasure trove of Colorado history. The master bedroom is so spacious and comfortable with a great view of the mountains. The other bedroom is cozy and comforting. The back deck is the bomb🥰; beautiful flowers and a plethora of seating to eat, lounge, and enjoy the view. The house is so close to everything but on a quaint and quiet street. We will definitively be back!
I can’t say enough about how wonderful this house is. It was our home base for a week-long ski trip to Aspen and it was simply perfect. There was plenty of room for our family (me, wife, and two early teen kids) including two dogs and all our belongings and gear. The photos don’t do justice to just how historic and charming this place actually is. Location is awesome, right in the heart of Glenwood Springs with all Aspen resorts within 45-50 minutes, Vail and Summit County resorts about an hour to an hour and a half away, and the best hot springs pool in Colorado just a few minutes away. Annie is an absolute sweetheart and she made sure everything was just perfect for us. We’ll definitely be back!
We had a great time staying here. Right in town and just a 15 minute walk to the hot springs pool. Very cute and comfortable house.
During our weekend the sewer pipe had to be replaced and Annie went above and beyond to still make it a great weekend. It was not much of an inconvenience but she went way more than the extra mile for us. We will be back.

Steve group left the hose absolutely perfect. So respectful nice. Loved this group. I can't wait for them to come back. Boy did I luck out with these great people who never got negative once on the last minute replacement of an old clay sewer line.
Wonderful and charming turn of the century house, super location and a great host.
We had a wonderful time in Annie's house. The house, which was built in 1903, is located in a historic part of town in a very quiet neighborhood. Everything of interest in Glenwood Springs is within easy walking distance. The house is filled with fascinating historical memorabilia and reading material. Annie is a delightful host. We're definitely going back!

About the host

Purchased this property in 2014 after selling a vacation rental property I owned for 17 years in the Mexican town of Puerto Morelos. The casa is called Casa Anita. I put my heart and soul into that place and plan to do the same here in Glenwood. Only difference this will be my home when vacant. While guests are here I will go to my off grid property 40 minutes away. I'm from the valley growing up in Carbondale. I like to hike, bike, ski ranched most of my life, rode horseback throughout our valley. Have lived off gird since 2000. After purchasing this property I've traded horseback riding for working with my handyman fixing up this place. I like the old ways and the history of our valley. So having a Victorian in downtown Glenwood is very special. The simple things in life creates happiness every day. Living in a town with 2 rivers is a new high for me. So many activities in this town, besides doing some personally I have just as much fun watching and meeting the people who are the locals or the visitors. Living around so much beauty and happy people is where I want to be.
Why they chose this property
This property is unique. It feels warm and lived in. Extremely clean. Environmentally friendly soaps items for quests to use and eat. It's within easy walking distance of all restaurants, shops, hot springs, bike paths, public access hiking trails. A very large property for being in down town Glenwood. Gives you a lot of privacy. Your surrounded by mountain views.
What makes this property unique
The 1903 Victorian will charm you as it does everyone who enters. To make your stay even more special there are lots of history books about Glenwood, the Roaring Fork Valley and Aspen.
If you don't like old houses, antiques, art, history, and a little funky this house isn;t for you.
Anyone staying at my home can be my guest at the Glenwood Hot Springs Athletic Club. I'm a member at the club and you will save $7 if you want to go as my guest. Just call/message your 1st and last names. I'll call the club. You will pay them $48 directly instead of the regular walk in fee of $55 at the general public admissions. Lots of perks, of course the hot springs. Nice clean locker rooms, towels, shampoo. The weight and exercise rooms, classes. Steam room an sauna.
Having been a property manager in Aspen for 20 years and also having a vacation rental in Mexico for 17 years I know how to make guests feel complete while visiting my home. I've had my Glenwood home as a vacation rental listed elsewhere with over 70 5 star reviews in the last year.
