About the host

Hosted by Ray and Gillian Ingles

Host profile image
As enthusiastic short and long distance travellers, my wife and I hugely appreciate staying in stylish, comfortable and clean accommodation, and so have high expectations of ourselves as hosts and seek to maintain high standards in our own properties.

We both love skiing, walking, dining out with friends and family, watching films, going to music concerts and getting involved at our local church.

Our life motto: be grateful for the blessings you have and treat others as you would want to be treated.

Why they chose this property

I have always loved France, having been brought up by parents who owned a property in Provence for many years. My love of the country, the culture and the language led me to want a place in France of my own, and that dream became a reality last year, when my husband and I discovered the Aveyron. We quickly grew to love this largely unknown, unspoilt, uncomplicated region. Truly beautiful, truly French.
If you, like us, enjoy retreating to a place of complete peace, tranquility and privacy, a place where you can truly rest and recharge your batteries, then La Braguese Gite is the place for you. Abounding in the beauty of nature, with eagles soaring overhead, deer bounding through the adjacent fields, cows mooing in the distance and owls hooting as you fall asleep gazing at starry skies, La Braguese Gite is a heavenly escape from it all.

What makes this property unique

We love the fact that you have the best of both worlds here; you can enjoy moments of complete peace and privacy or, within a short drive, get involved with local village events or visit local attractions and sample the local food and wine that the wide variety of restaurants in the area have to offer. We also love the fact that the property is within easy reach (5 min drive) of a large supermarket and retail park, ideal when you just fancy another bottle of wine to go with your BBQ meal!
